I have many years experience in the upkeep of battery operated kids toys , and one thing I’ve learned is a consistent occurrence with these types of toys is that when the batteries are near the end of their lifespan,along with the toy being left switched on all the time, causes the toy to erratically and randomly light up. One time I was doing a cleansing of my friends apartment because her babies were talking to something in the closet. that noise is a white noise machine. they work really well if you're sleeping at odd times and there's noise around. we used one for our baby because it drowns out any other noises and sudden sounds so he wouldn't wake up while napping. we alos used to live in the woods and in the spring/summer it sounded like we were in a bird zoo starting at about 5am and the white noise machine drowned out all the bird sounds.
