Playing on 120 fps compared to 60 fps feels so smooth and makes me enjoy the game more. Also the reshade makes it easier for to play DBD because I don't struggle in the dark anymore :D Thank you so much for the video and the effort you put in helping us!

for the love of god, if you have a gpu that can run dx12 pretty well, or an intel arc gpu, make sure your launch settings has -dx12 for dbd

You should clear up some things in this video. At 1:05 you say to delete WindowsClient and Rename WindowsNoEditor to WindowsClient. However when you get on to the Steam settings, you say to open WindowsNoEditor, while also still having both WindowsClient and WindowsNoEditor... You said to delete NoEditor and Rename to Client. Those settings in NoEditor that was changed to Client is a little different than what is in the normal Client. For example the FPSlock isn't there at all, just frame rate limit.

After following this guide, everything "works" but every once in a while I crash mid game, not every game, every 3 or 4, I don't get a UE error or anything, the game just poofs and silently closes... any idea as to what's happening? Edit: I changed nothing, and now can just not play survivor, every time I load in my game does the above, and I'm matchmake locked so I can't test survivor but killer just seems to stutter a lot without crashing... I can't even load into the "survive with bots" tutorial?

@@darrenluvsu4049 According to the Steam forums it has to do with Reshade 5.9.0's instability, all people that have been having this problem have reverted to 5.8.0 and have experienced no issues? Gonna try this and if it's true I shall return and edit the comment Edit: don't wanna get my hopes up but I did just make it through a killer game with no menu lag or anything, so this very well could've been the problem?

Good tips in general. I would just change the end script about the peer verification. I'm no expert, and please correct me if I am wrong, but seems to me that it makes the connection vulnerable. [/Script/Engine.NetworkSettings] n.verifyPeer=False Hmmm... I also would not really check the read only box on the first file, since most people won't even remember where to find this file and might want to change the settings in game. Taking those 2 points aside it is a great video, thanks for the content. :D
