If you want someone to remember to do something, use the word " remember", by saying "don't forget", the subconscious hears "forget". Just like if I say 'don't think of a black cat.' What do you immediately think of?

@mayadog2497

@@Imnotheregoaway what does that have to do with it? My father had me at 18 years old. Hed had just started a technical school but had to quit to work. My parents had to take a $500 loan out to pay for my birth and it took them years to pay it off. He made $150 a month, my mother didnt work, they lived in someones garage. My fathers family was poor ass Appalachian hill billies and my nother adopted...neither of them got anything from their families. Today, my father is now very wealthy. He started a business and busted his ass for 30 years. He has everything and anything he wants. Every person thats ever worked for him was paid well and many became successes themselves. He never even hired cleaners to clean his stores and the bathrooms...he did it because his goal was to make money- whether being paid as a janitor or the president of the company. My sister and I have never received any of his wealth, and hes repeatedly told us not to expect or count on getting a penny from him...that we better bust our asses to become successful. I can rattle off a long list of people that I know that have done the very same thing. I was friends with the brothers that owned the bank I used to do business with. They were orphans that started with nothing and no one to help them do anything. The worked their way through college, saved money and eventually opened a bank. 20 years later, they sold it for hundreds of millions.....from orphans to the top 1% literally in 30 years. Dont talk yourself out of success because there are people out there that trap themselves in as a victim and incapable. I dont know you....but Ill bet that were you to follow the advise in this video and work hard....you might get somewhere.

@Mastercaped
@Mastercaped Ай бұрын
@@davidb88424 You just proved yourself (mostly) wrong in one sentence... those people you give $1,000,000 to weren't born into wealth they were gifted it after NOT having $1,000,000 for their entire lives. When you're born into generational wealth the money is setup in a way that you could just live off of interest forever if you live within your means; that's why the wealth is generational lol. You're also taught how to manage money, invest etc. at a young age. Coming from a low income family will not give you this same knowledge as many low income parents don't know how to invest or have no money to invest because they live paycheck to paycheck. Generational wealth doesn't mean you were gifted one million dollars randomly in your life and set loose, it's generational money. Maybe think before you speak next time.

Yep, i believe there's only one success in life and it's to achieve satisfaction and happiness in your life. You certainly don't need to be a millionaire to be that way because only trying to earn 12 hours a day and not being able to spend time with your family is just an idiotic way to live life. If you aren't receiving happiness and are constantly stuck in a cycle of eat, work and sleep. Then living that is simply not worth the effort you are putting in and you will never be able to be satisfied with your life.

If the prospective employee learns to apply themselves and use the steps outlined above, theses steps can be used through one's entire life. There is nothing to lose under the tutorage of someone who is willing and wanting to guide the prospective employee to make it on their own after taking the 3 - 5 years learning. I di and now I own my own company. I only want to find others who want to make something of themselves in their lives.

@@penelopelgoss2520 I'm approaching retirement age at this time, and right now, my only goal is to beat the government to the destruction of social security so that I can at least drop down to part time. But in my youth, I came to the conclusion that many, if not most employers seek too much arbitrary information that is ultimately the personal business of the potential employee. It's nice that you want to know their goals and all, but in the really real world, a person with ambition doesn't need to be asked about their goals, they will make them clear in time. By asking them ahead of time, you run the risk of ending up with a large amount of employees that are just telling you what they think you want to hear. I'm fairly confident this has happened to you more then once. There is only one thing in my mind that I think is the business of any employer to know that isn't already generally asked in a standard interview, and that is, does your potential employee know what it means to be a profitable employee. IE, do they embrace consistency, do they show up every day, are they not only on time every day but are early every day, do they know that team work is doing 100% of their job? And do they understand, there is always room for improvement? Fill your ranks with these men and women, that's a recipe for success. Fill your ranks with those that spend their time telling you what you want to hear, who knows what comes... Maybe you'll be successful, but I'm quite confident the aforementioned would lead to greater success.

If I’m at an interview and someone pulls this stunt with doing this “exercise”, I get up and walk out, no need to waste anymore time on gadget interviews. I’m a contractor, I constantly am looking for the next assignment, so I interview a lot. I’ve been to interviews where the person doing the hiring says they want a particular task accomplished in 12 months to 18 months, but when I start questioning them on the details of what they want, many times it’s completely different from what they advertised. In these cases, I politely shake their hand, thank them for their time and leave, so they no longer waste my time. Being successful is a lot more than setting goals. That’s about 2% of the effort.

As someone with ADHD as well I disagree. I also have two friends with ADD and/or OCD who are now living great lives. Don't give up yet or assume your ADHD has control over you. Being able to focus for even 15 minutes with 5 minute breaks, or task switching between different goals can do a lot. Don't compare yourself too much to others and discover what success is for you.

@@MilesRCH as someone with ADHD I realise adhd ain’t consistent. It’s different for different people and trust me my guy I’ve done everything when my brain shuts down I either take ADHD meds (which I’m struggling to get hold of) or do nothing.

@@DetectiveInspectorMe. Agree, definitely not consistent, even for the same person. Sometimes I can get locked in on one thing, other times I have the attention span of a goldfish. EVERYTHING is a strong word... I only say it like that because of my friends who kind of 'figured it out' in their early thirties. Not sure how old you are yet, but it's worth it I think to keep discovering... Imagine a day where you are master over your ADHD!
