Sorry for your loss. Those little furballs bring us so much joy and love. That love stays with us. They are all running and playing like puppies on the on other side.❤❤❤ Those panels are a high tech way of collecting water from the air. We learned a technique in boy scouts. Bury a pot so the rim was ground level cover it with plastic wrap, a small hole and rock in the middle to collect dew. Its not a lot of watet but can help you survive. 60 decibels per panel? A push mower is around 55 i believe. Might get annoying if too close to the house.

I'm glad you received these free materials to augment your water needs. Source's FAQs does NOT provide direct answers to FAQs O suspect due to liability concerns. One vaguely unanswered question is "How much water can a panel produce monthly?". They say 180 "standard" bottles per month - What is standard? Annual maintenance, filters, minerals, and unit costs are not addressed. They will differ for each customer.
@bradcouch28992 ай бұрын
There are charts that show how much each panel produces as it correlates to humidity and direct sunlight (amount of energy the solar components produce). In AZ with the average humidity in Cochise County, both panels should produce between 1 1/2 - 2 gallons on a sunny day. Charts can be found on FB in a group entitled "Cochise County and other AZ Hydropanel owners"

Solar stills are used in survival situations for eons. Dig a hole in the dirt, put something to catch water on the bottom take plastic and cover the hole with a small rock in the middle so the base of the plastic in aimed at the collector. moisture will condense on the bottom of the plastic and collect in the bottom.

Cochise County, had in-laws that moved there, know the country. I myself moved to Apache county, 5300 ft elevation, off-off grid and 35 miles from any services. On a mountain top, above the tree line,( google that, i really got it wrong) would love a few of those panels as water is a 'haul' once a month. The panel output directly relative to humidity content. Arizona, not so much. I think of those off-gridders somewhat east in a humid climate, but then rain catchment would be better too. Good luck and as always be safe. ❤

Without looking them up based on your description, it sounds like they may be using some sort of 'Peltier cooler' setup ie run power in and one side gets cold, one side gets hot...and if you run air over the cool side you can get condensation etc. If that is the case, the combination fan noise is probably to pull cool air in across the cold side then blow it back out over the hot side to keep that cooled off. Very cool in any case, hope it turns out well and you can do a future 'it works and is cool' followup video. :) And of course now I read the website...and nope they do not use pentier coolers, they use other fun stuff. :)
