It's really cool to get such a close, detailed look at these graves in 360 degrees. So often, all I see is just a few pictures of a location, and it's hard to get a good idea of what it's really like, so this is so helpful.

What are your thoughts on the dolmens found in other parts of the world? North America, Korea for example... Awesome videos and great work, really enjoy this!

Thank you! As cultures in different parts of the world adopted the Neolithic lifestyle of agriculture and more permanent settlements, they also seemed to develop the urge to build large stone monuments. We’ll probably never know the true meaning of these structures, but the fact that they exist all over the world shows that people around the world (past and present) are more alike than many people realize.

Is there a chance the ground level has been raised and these sights just filled in and eventually collapsed in on themselves like when a house has too much snow on the roof.
@aroundtheworldwitherin Жыл бұрын
Most of these sites were mostly covered with dirt, with maybe a few stones visible, and over time it eroded away or people started digging up the stones to use for other things.

@@aroundtheworldwitherin I have found that most quarries were originally megalithic sites here in Australia. Also parks and golf courses were originally old sites that have been converted into public places.
