Correction, Amy...#7=Kolekole. Unless you can gain base access, would cross this off the list. Suggest Ehukai pillbox hike instead

Great info but the Makapuu tidepools can be dangerous I would not take young children

Thank you and I agree that a huge level of personal responsibility and self-awareness is absolutely required when deciding where to hike with kids. After I posted this video, I heard someone had fallen off Lanikai Pillbox! It was one of my favorite island hikes with my daughter and I had just recommended it! There is a lot of danger when hiking trails, and my focus was doing something adventurous as a family but within certain boundaries.Thank you again for your comment and I hope you found some other useful information❤️ Our family had so much fun exploring Oahu!🌺
