As a skater from the mid-80's I'm completely blown away by the level of skill skaters have these days. Back when I skated it was a huge deal to land just one trick. I remember playing THPS2, and 3, much later, and thinking how incredible it would be if people could actually do trick string combos, and now it's being done. Not just being done, but being done with superb grace, and elegance. I couldn't even do a simple kickflip, lol. I was in a really weird, stuck-in-the-middle type spot with only really doing launch ramp. I never rode vert, and my street skills were, well, disgusting, lol. Thank you to all the skaters still doing it, and doing it well!

A hack that makes 1/2 manuals, aka, one wheel manual, easier. Is to cut down your truck cushions, then use a stack of washers to take up the excess space. Doing this reduces the movement of the trucks without making movement harder. This was something myself, and other flatland freestylers in Sydney were doing through the 90's
