Couple ways to afford Quincy action figure: 1. Selling and replacing Geraldo. 2. Having double cash on. 3. Making sure Heroes don’t start and level 3 (monkey knowledge) since when you don’t have the option to buy it, it doesn’t go up in price, hence from level 1-2 (where Geraldo gets his action figure) you can save up enough money to buy the base standing at 700$.

Placing Geraldo on round 1 causes the scaling price to be just slightly too far away due to how little money is made on rounds 1 and 2. If you're in a normal hard game (starting on round 3), you can place him immediately and actually just beat the curve to be able to place it while allowing it to scale as high as possible (as placing him early can increase the income from ~120k at round 80 to ~150k). If you start on round 1, just make sure not to place him until round 3 to be safe.

The reason you weren't able to buy the action figure is because you purchased Geraldo on round 1 but have hard difficulty prices. Rounds 1 and 2 give relatively little income while causing his figure to increase in price twice more than if you bought him on round 3 (which is the round Hard mode normally starts on). With all monkey knowledge, if you bought Geraldo on round one in medium, you could normally buy the figure on round 9. Meanwhile, if you got Jerry on round 3 in hard, you could buy the figure near the end of round 8.

You can definitely get the Rare Quincy Action Figure without buying farms. If I remember correctly, you should have enough money eventually if you just get Geraldo and no other towers, you might be able to get a tower if you don't upgrade it much but I'm not sure. In fact, I've literally never bought the Rare Quincy Action Figure after putting a farm down
