I order one of those Ipad holder that is mounted off the headboard of the bed from Amazon. My fitbit scolded me for lack of sleep! But I love it! I had one of my OG tracker in the holder while making ambient music before going to sleep.

With the tracker synth engines it's probably 4 additional superpowers to the already awesome unified concept

Absolutely, super powerful!

As someone with both the Tracker Mini and the Tracker Plus, you're giving me ideas, and they're ideas that don't even involve spending money. What sorcery is this?! For real though, I kind of want to take a project and sample stuff using the Mini, do some sound design on it and bring it into the Plus for a bit of polish. I'm absolutely digging this!

Can the samples or even grooves created on the tracker mini be put on a separate sd card n loaded and used on an mpc one?

Hi bro, i need your help - How to connect the OPZ to the Polyend Tracker Mini using just usb-c to usb-c? I can't get it to work no matter what i try. (I dont have the opz op midi module, but supposedly you can use usbc to usbc cable to connect?)
@FreeBeat4 ай бұрын
What exactly are you trying to do with them?
@Nova-TechnoLAB4 ай бұрын
@@FreeBeat Thank you for replying :) Im trying to use the OPZ as a tiny keyboard controller for the Tracker Mini. But no luck connecting with usb-c for some reason. Ive used the OPZ successfully with Renoise tracker DAW (by the way man renoise is great!).

Boo, Sell out LOL! I almost forgot that you are a fellow Oregonian! I tried several groove box , and came back to the Tracker. sold one of my tracker OG for the Mini Tracker. and still have the other OG tracker. However I added a Sonicware ELZ_1 Play. I have them all connected by midi. Only other hardware is my Aerophone wind controller. When I am out away from home I take the Sonicware SmplTrek and mini tracker, and at home the ELZ_1 Play and OG Tracker. I do want to eventually pick up the Tracker +. Adding the sonicware ELZ_1 play I gain a 4 track audio loop station, and 17 more synth engine with load of EFX. Then use the tracker midi out to the ELZ_1 play. I use the Midi wind controller to record track in real time recording, and the Novation Launchpad pro MK3 for the user chord mode recording. I think the sonicware synth and the polyend tracker is a great mix bag of tools. You could use the keyboard of the sonicware to the tracker for realtime recording.

The Tracker percussion is much better than the ELZ_1 play

I really wanna upgrade my tracker… But I can’t decide on the tracker plus or the tracker mini.
@lunaticcalm294 ай бұрын
Careful about the mini, huge QA problems. Highly documented online. Tested every mini inventory at my local store and every one of them had a problem with one or two buttons of the d-pad. They registered only about 20 to 50% of the time. I just went with the + instead.
@FreeBeat4 ай бұрын
Really just depends if you wanna go portable or not! I personally haven't had any QA problems with my Tracker Mini, but I know other folks have, so definitely something to take into consideration as well. If you're just looking to stay in the studio then Tracker + all the way!

Make sure the company you will get the Mini from has a rock solid returns policy.

Initially I was going to be a Polyend guy but Elektron kept making their impression on me and now I can't afford anything else lol (yet)

I dipped my toes into elektron with the modelcycles but ended up returning it because the workflow was so convoluted and weird. Are the workflows on the digitakt or syntakt any better?
@dudeseriously794 ай бұрын
@@yourcitysleeps Yes they are, they're easier to access and it's quite an easy process to create, especially with Digitakt 2. Digitakt 2 is so vastly enhanced over Digitakt, it makes me want to have 2 of them and work them in tandem. Sound quality is huge with me and that's where Elektron shines imho.

If you don't need the onboard synths or stereo sampling (or a few other features), you can grab the original Polyend Tracker pretty heavily discounted these days. I've seen them around $300 USD on Reverb!

Love trackers, LSDJ is still king in my opinion but you're slightly limited for samples. But if people in the posts want an affordable tracker, I recommend this setup. R36s handheld and Teensy 4.1 M8 Headless software You've now got a powerful portable tracker for around $100
