That would depend on you. He's easy to get right now but will be harder later after the event. I had saved up 60 premium from leveling up my champions and was able to the 450 fragments needed. Sold off my Minamoto who I've been using to finally upgrade (yes, I'm an old school F2P for a while)

I’ve got Ragnar and Sigurd, Ragnar awakened with Sigurd and covenant at level 4 makes for a rockstar pairing.

I think what I tend to forget is that all I have to do is level up the Generals to earn the covenants. I have caught myself many times putting gold, gems, etc. etc. into Generals that I couldn't possibly Ascend.

Swapped my assistant to Ragnar. Total of 50% total increase from specialities and covenent. Had Godfrey before.

Hello AKA, I have a question that i have not been able to find an answer. When joining a rally, you press join and inmediatly the game places some generals. My quesrion is. what determines which general it is. I ask because I have a friend that once let me see his acount and play ... i norice that every time i pressed join to a rally the same generals would appear. Now, he has 5 copies of those general. He says he doesnt know how that happenes. do you know? thanks for the videos ... keep the good work

I think the real issue is what's going to happen when Evony finally puts in covenants on the older to not-that-old generals. I'd expect most of the OG generals to boost up attack, but not to the levels of the newest generals, but one of the big questions about this coming change: What will the impact be on asst. generals, especially march size?

*Ragnar* seems _very_ compatible: just checked and he's good with *Elektra* , *Louis IX* (who I've had trouble with before), *Gnarr* , *Idunn* , *Edward the Black Prince* and *Himiko* . I only have one copy (and am trying not to spend too much at the moment) but he's still good for an Assist on *Merlin* - I presently use *Douglas* (who also needs a _Spirit Beast_ so I have that L1 one to swap over). *Aka* were you going to do a full video on _Covenants_ ? I, for one, and I'm not alone in my Alliance, are still rather mystified... if you have only 1 or 2 of the specified 3 Covenant Generals how far can you get? How do you spend Covenant Stones efficiently? Do Covenants on an Assistant count? - ah, just seen you imply/say it does! Thanks for your consideration though as your guides are so good I'd love a specific video.

The generals that come out in these big spending events have pretty good staying power. But, Evony screwed us when Gunther and Melisande were released about six months after Pallas and Kleos.

Hair brained comment. Every game releases upgrades. Evony release endless generals, but only a primary around once a year. Anyone that took Merlin or Marcus is either a big player and wanted the additional buffs or they were too impatient to wait. Ive been using douglas ever since he was released. Only now, nearly a year later is he getting replaced.

Btw, if you want high buffs, don't scoff at even a 5% increase. 20% is huge. I have quit last year and came back in April. I have spent 1/3rd of what I did before and I am almost 2600 ranged buff.

I got lucky and got Ragnar using the heavenly legacy package. I am torn on whether to run him as a lead or a assistant. I do have some copies of Agrippa and Douglas with a Skin as well as Merlin and Elektra. For me BOA are premium and I have to save them up for a few weeks to ascend anyone one star. I would like to know how the game is giving out two different copies of generals. For example I have Napoleon on one account but he is not awakened and I Have not idea how to awaken him. If you go to portraints there is not an awakened/non-awakened portrait......

Bro 1 star wouldn't help anything & you should use blood on general that are easy to ascend, if you keep doing the level up 1 red star on new general then better invest heavily or don't invest at all

Sigurd covenant as assistant is not gonna work with Ragnar! because Sigurd is the general required for Ragnar covenant, the same goes with Andre masena covenant for prime napoleon
