I was fortunate to have enough fragments of Yukimura to get to full ascension without spending thousands of gems in the tavern. Will make a good secondary monster general as you mentioned. Great video!

That's what I'm doing, although I did spend a few thousand gems to get the 4th ascension level and it will be a while before I get enough to fully ascend him. Way back when I had been dismissing copies of him for gold... dammit.

hey aka! I recently discovered that cleopatra and spartacus do not require blood of ares to awaken! Thus it only costs the gold and gems necessary for obtaining the fragments. Cleopatra has become one of the generals i use most often. Spartacus similarly has stamina reduce buffs on his awakened abilities.

Spartacus is really worth a look. You can ascend to get Stamina reduction that pairs with Greene nicely, better drop rate than Baibars, and nice attack buffs. He is easier to get in the Tavern than Sanada.

Your comment near the end of the video, Sanada is pretty much the only purple general worth ascending... could have saved me some time, except that I do enjoy discussions about everything on this game. So I was just trying to be annoying. I have Sanada. And a copy I believe. I have kept him but have never really understood why I should. Thanks for the video! Sorry if I was snide. I use 3 red star Sanada with dragon ring as main rally joining general, assisted with either Baibars for smaller monsters or Nathaniel Greene with the luck skill book. That way i get stamina reduction and double drop. Add bird of hurricane on Sanada to further increase double drop rate

I run an 8 star Spartacus with a Kings bow, courageous kings boots and courageous dragon ring, and a DD skill book with a march speed skill book. I use Nathaneal Greene as the assistant. This combo is used for joining ALL rallies. I lose 7% DD by not using Baibars but now save 30% stamina on every rally. IMO, if you run out of stamina DD rate dont mean shit.

Did you add the Luck skillbook to Spartacus? That plus 3 ascended stars should exceed Baibars's base skill for DD I believe.

********** EDIT: Now that I think about, isn't 10% dd on Sanada + dd book actually more dd than Baibars base skill ? I think there is something wrong with Evony, lol. Why would they give us peasants such cheap double drop tool ??? I smeel bullshit lol. Especially after those senate shenanigans. The big problem is there is no way to test doube drop rates. It's not buffs or debuffs that you see in reports, and can analize results of battle aswell. And it works extremely randomly. Sometimes you get many double drops in a row with naked Cleo as only dd source. And sometimes you get zero double drops with maxed out Theodora, during Ymir event and with fruitful results activated. This game is such a garbage lol...

I am 100% F2P and fully ascended Sanada is now my #1 monster general (with Mordred as assistant to provide better attack buffs). This gives me all of Sanada's attacks (+86%) plus Mordred's special skill (+40%) plus Attack skill book (+25%) plus attack against monster skill (+45%). That's +196% attack. Without a dragon (using level 10 Chiron instead) he's better than my former #1 Martinus, whom I am only able to ascend to 2 stars so far (and using Hannibal as his assistant) even with a dragon (Fafnir level 10). My Martinus combo's attack buff as currently developed is +146% (not counting the gear or the dragon / spiritual beast in either case).

This is interesting. I will try this to see how I fair. Been using 2 red Star Martinus with Sanada as assistant. I recently got Poligenus and Custer. Should be similar to Mordred

Poligenus is slightly better than Mordred on defense if you can get him. Custer increases your march size, but only if you give him the march size skill book. If you give it to Sanada it will block Custer's special skill@@mrtipbadd​

Hello Aka, thank you for your updates .. but a word of caution --> If one already has Caeser who has maxed specialties.. even without a red star is superior to Sanada (10 star, Awakened) of same level and full cultivation. The reason is Caeser being gold general has way better basic attributes which itself gives you 20% extra HP and even defence compared to Sanada. I tested with Level 44 Sanada with Level 44 Caeser

Spartacus 5+3 Stars is the new KING for joining rallies! He offers 10% Stamina Reduction + 10% Double Drop Chance (exactly the same as Sanada) + his main ability the 75% Speed to Monsters which is what you want to reduce the RETURN speed of your march! (yes, you want Monster Speed for the return timer!) . Also he costs only 10m (vs 20m that Sanada costs) to buy from Tavern. Just put a Baibar as his assistant and give Spartacus a spear for more monster speed and a ring for double drop chance and you are good to go! Don't get me wrong Sanada is amazing to help with hard bosses BUT the maximum Defense you can reduce vs a Boss is capped at 50% - easily achieved with just few people having 4set Dragon Armor equipped.

Unfortunately, Baiber doesn't work as an assistant to Spartacus. His main double drop skill is grayed out when I attach him to Spartacus, King Arthur, Cleopatra, Custer, etc

@@TheErockaustin It works but i assume you have Luck skill book on Spartacus. Remove the book and Baibars skill will work as assistant. Only 1 Luck can be active, prioritizes the main skill of main general, then luck book from main general and lastly main skill from assistant (even if assistants skills is better than the other 2). Ascention double drop from main general doesnt affect this, it just stacks on top

​@@and1chewy1never experimented but my guess is Cortez debuffs monster attack. This means if the monster has a chance to strike back it will do lesser damage. Sanada debuffs monster defense, giving your troops a higher chance to kill it in the first attack of the round.

you can use sanada as main gen . switch the position with the past main gen and gears. in this way you will get all the speciality buff also and extra cav buff for sanada

Sanada as main rally joiner, no luck book, Baibars as assistant. You get more double drops than just Baibars, more double drop than Sanada with Luck book, and stamina reduction and march speed to monster increase. (Less stamina reduction than Baibars/Greene, but still worth it.) After thought explanation: Baibars' main skill doesn't work with Luck Book, but it's higher than a level 4 Luck Book. (Book 18%, Baibars 25%) So by using Baibars as assistant, he's essentially Sanada's Luck Book.

While it is worth noting that you do get a tiny bit more rss using Sanada/Baibar, actually replacing Baibar for Greene as assistant to three star Sanada gives you a better rss/stamina return. (When Sanada has the luck book level 4)

The 3 stars for sanada and Spartacus are the same benefits for double drop and stamina management. They both combo with green, Baibars, both speed generals and Maria. For players that want to customize rally joining combos this is a great list. As for killing monsters. Early game, when you do not have a good boss hunter yet. Sanada comes in a puzzle box, fragments from relics and free in the Tavern. Spartacus comes free with the 24hr rss deliver and free in the tavern. I'm watching out for the ascension of Gaius, Lucy, Shimazu and Constance. See how they will change the gathering side of this game.

Yes, that’s right. If you do Sanada’s ascension and put him in a sub, you won’t get any of his ascension benefits

The best one was I had planned on using Mihai/Subutai (main/assistant).....tested them out, they worked together. Cool. Started getting Mihai frags and doing some ascension, and spent a bunch of runestones on specialties..... then they magically were no longer compatible. However, Subutai/Mihai is. I hate Evony.

Evony gave players premium general tokens, while they didn't spent them, same to blood. Whille appointed generals stays at senate and still works. And other players, who are late for the party got nothing, so FAIR!
