I like that they made the tempered ornamental unique attack a charged attack and not the AoW. You can throw on the axe talisman and use the spike cracked tear and get a 26% buff to damage as opposed to the 15% it would have gotten from alexander shard.

Ghiza wheel 1H charged also synergizes charged and consecutive buffs really well.

If it's like the Darkmoon gs (and I don't see why it wouldn't be) then the charged heavy on the ornamental swords benefit from shard of Alexander *and* the axe talisman

@@BilliamTorpedo the buff to DMGS is more for the projectile. Other move altering AoWs don't receive benefit from Alexander shard either, like the various roars/cries.

regarding the ornamental straight sword btw, the Jr1 2-handed has an interesting propriety of being 3 hits starting at fram 7 of the animation, with all but the first one doing >133 poise damage(the first one does 86 iirc) and the golden tempering uncharrged R2 is not bad at 14 frames. i wonder if it could be worked out to be a jumping attack machine like the heavy thrusting swords?

Btw I have a feeling that when it comes to Str/Dex builds: Pots/Perfumes/ and GreatBows are just the DS1 Magic System☠️ At ANY POINT you can whip out an oil pot and a Fire Pot and Now Your a Mage. Golem GreatboW up to 30 threats you don’t like Dealing With One shot Like they Consume Little To No Mana / Zero Split Dmg / and don’t have to carry an ugly staff at all times

One day oss will be patched to work at all lol rn it’s heavy doesn’t get buffs from literally anything but holy scorpion and general attack buffs. Nothing from shard, axe, icon, I wouldn’t be suprised if spear doesn’t work with it even tho it’s obviously thrust dmg.

You can duplicate any ash of war with an item, and if you have the right whetblade you can use almost any random ash of war and infuse the weapon with lightning..
