Yea thats a sore spot. $1,200 and your eyes will always look at that one spot. Hopefully SSC will send you a replacement. Looks awesome though.

Take a picture of the chip and send it to them. It doesn't hurt to get a discount for your next purchase, at the very least.

Yas! I'm enjoying mine too. Great review :) Oh, and there's 2 green AAA batteries in the box within the Styrofoam on the first layer I think. Mine came with some.

He’s huuuge! Congrats on the EX and I agree that a pedestal out in the open is probably the ideal way to appreciate all the intricate details on this piece. As for the tiny chip, I think you should let SS know. Best case you get a perfect replacement and statue. Worse case you get a discount on a future purchase and just need to do a minor touch up. Just depends if you could live with it having spent a good chunk of change for it. Great review!

The reason y I say call them is because if u ever choose to sell him, regardless of how small the chip is, it will severely impact the resell value.

Good God this statue if next level sculpting and detailed painting and look at the size of it with the other PFs.. :)) Congratz man it looks like one of THE best statue in recent years(way superior than the 2'nd Red Sonja PF) and this one literally overthrows the first Dr. Doom PF from his throne in grail speaking ;) If I were I would definitively contact Sideshow about that paint chip and ask a replacement.. not because of the $1.200 but because even though it won't effect overall look of the statue, it would hunt me knowing that I don't have a flawless one and disturb me even at my sleep.. but that's me.. so you should at least give it a try and see how it goes.. congratz again and please show him more with the rest of your setup.

Don't worry about the paint chip. Contact sideshow, they will ask you to destroy the current one. Send the proof you have destroyed completely and you will receive a brand new headsculpt replacement.

Great Review and feel your joy through this video. Congratulations to your great EX statue. You are so lucky actually and I think you may just call SideShow about that little small imperfect spot. I'm not as lucky as you are for I pay also US$1200 but getting just the regular one. Feel stupid about this, not because of the statue , but the market strategy and their treatment to the customers of SS. Having a choice is always better than being forced to accept one. Call them for a head replacement but I doubt they're going to have a replacement for the exclusive so they most likely will give you a refund for the difference you paid for the exclusive

Secret Sanctuary I didn't know that since they recently started charging more for the exclusive versions...a while back I had an issue with the kratos statue that came out a few years ago it had a barely noticeable molding error on the nose and I contacted them for a replacement but they were already out of stock so they offered a partial refund which it was pretty fair I would say since I got to keep the statue and got some of my money back so who knows how it would work with your case since the exclusive head was basically for free

That is so sick! The price also makes me "sick" XD But yeah if I could afford it I would have gotten this bad boy! Also just a dab if very close point on that chip would hide it really well... that is what I would do if I was not going to get a replacement (though you better get some discount for that regardless... I would contact them and say you are willing to love with it but you want a small discount or future discount). Lastly there are no "wars" for Thanos... only minor skirmishes at most where he must stomp on ants every so often XD

Amazing video, you look like a nice guy not like those elitist flippers who act like celebrity rapers and receive everything for free to resell half of their stuff after the review. I'm not a pro but I think the chip is pretty easy fix at home with the right materials anyway you should receive a partial refund or SS points.

Great review. The statues does look incredible. I didn't know the EX sold out in 12 minutes.. It just upset me they made 3500 of the regular edition or as they call it "collector edition" I'm sure the regular is gong to be there for a while.. And definetly contact sideshow my friend.

Tom I agree 100%. You would think when your spending a 1000$ dollars on a piece you would receive packaged in a way it wouldn't get damaged. If damaged they should be willing to cover it right away and not put you on a waiting list for something you already been waiting a year for. 120$ credit to keep it are you kidding me! This is what they told me.
