Go back some 60 years, and as a very, very young lad, I used to ride on the back of those giant tortoise. _And maybe, just maybe, some of the ones filmed were ones I used to ride on._ As regards the Zanzibar Leopard. The last, unconfirmed sighting _(From a trail camera.)_ was in 2018. Though it was considered to be extirpated _(Extinct.)_ in 2015 due to over hunting and loss of habitat. Nice to finally see that those giant Fruit Bats are flourishing once more. Back in my day, they were a rare sight to be seen. If at all. And I didn't even know that the Coconut Crab was even on Zanzibar. *So you learn something new everyday* 8-))... A great video. So thank you 8-))...

I watched documentaries religiously as a child and believed every word. Now, I have been to most of the places the talk they about and I will treat them as an interesting guidline, on which to build a framework of actual facts. "Crabs develop antenna that pick up airborne scents". If it's airborne, it's a scent. If it's water-borne, it's a taste. A palm tree is not a tree. It's a succulent.

The saddest thing about watching underwater documentary's is whenever there's a ship wreck it's always covered with fishing nets!!! It's like they don't miss a inch of the oceans!!! Also they kill giants like this!!! They should come up with something else like fish farms and leave the oceans alone and let them recover!!!

@@kirkkirkland7244 and who's the ignoramus that thinks we evolved from monkeys!?! You're correct in that there's many new discoveries and much new science... It just overwhelmingly defends evolution theory. But read up on it 1st as monkeys, though distantly related, are not our descendants. Not even the apes, though you'd be getting warmer. What I've never understood is why can't the Christian God have created the entire evolutionary cycle? I mean, damn! Give every organism the opportunity to make the changes to thrive as it's circumstances change, as they inevitably will. Seems like the reasonable choice for any benevolent creator. Jus sayin...

@@nonenoneonenonenone ... And so we're going straight to"f'in miracle!" No stopping at "species adaptation" or even simple learning curve? Are we the only ones who can claim that credit? Bc, while it's unique, it IS effective, which they'd likely deem a happy accident worthy of repeating. But, of course, we can continue the unimaginative and hubristic modality of humans being the only animals w a soul bc we have (supposedly) a conscience? So that's our 1st go-to? Dem little critters are just too stupid to learn stuff. They've been cruising around the 'hood before dinosaurs but only bc our creator tossed em a bone! Why we he do that!?! Is that pity? Guilt, maybe, bc she knew she should've made em smarter. Ah man! Hoarder-headed crab= god's ultimate consolation prize!

130 thousand years ago? That is wrong. You have been indoctrinated by lies. Wake up to the truth. The earth is around 6 thousand years old and it is flat and stationary. The bottom line is, are you saved in The Lord Jesus Christ? Romans 6:23 Lost souls matter. Heaven and hell are real, literal places, choose your eternal destination wisely for your souls. We are running out of time, tomorrow is not promised. All hell is about to break loose. Do not get left behind.

HAHAHA. I'm afraid it is you who have ben deceived and fallen victim to lies. This is a beautiful place.. what caught my attention is the narrator saying “Along with other primates “ man just recently begin to live there seriously while showing a monkey. THATS A RACIST STATEMENT YOURE SAYING THESE PEOPLE ARE PRIMATES ..😡🤬
@alisonyahna8041 Жыл бұрын
People belong to the group of animals called primates in the scientific classification system. Primates are all kinds of monkeys apes lemurs baboons and humans! I dont understand why this is offensive to people... we like to think that we are not animals but in fact we are also animals... just very strange ones that destroy their environment!
@nonenoneonenonenone Жыл бұрын
Get some education. Humans ARE primates.
@andrewtilsley Жыл бұрын
I get what you're saying about racist overtones but to say that humans are not primates shows that you don't know what the word primate actually means. The order Primata implicitly includes humans. This isn't an opinion - it is irrefutable - and "primate" should not be used when "non-human primate" is meant.
@Superior_Mindz Жыл бұрын
@@andrewtilsley Because you say so and because some group decided without express consent these two terms which are clearly not the same etymologically or morphologically.. Foh I’m a free thinker and highly aware Man .. I disagree with the quote unquote professional description..Respectfully..
@andrewtilsley Жыл бұрын
@@Superior_Mindz well, I'm sure we can both agree that using terms which have a specific meaning incorrectly perpetuates miscommunication. This isn't an arbitrary, non-consensual matter or a vague biological theory - humans and all other great apes, yep - we're apes, are deeply embedded within the order Primata. Calling any human a primate is factually accurate - although, I again understand that incorrect use of this term can be applied in a way that perpetuates systemic racism. I respect that you are a free thinker, but I would counsel caution on calling out racism over a word being used correctly - that you are refusing to use correctly yourself!
