Go Wild

Жыл бұрын

The Falkland’s bleak, battered and windswept archipelago lies 460 km from the South American mainland.
Rugged mountains and expansive pristine coastline remain unspoilt by human development, making it a unique home for wildlife - especially for one of the world’s most iconic flightless birds.
Penguins usually conjure up images of ice and snow, but the Falklands sandy beaches and rolling meadows make it one of the penguin capitals of the world. Over a million breed on the islands each summer, sharing fields with grazing sheep up to a kilometre inland, and taking freshwater showers along rocky coves.
But this retreat isn’t all fun and games. Although no land mammals pose a threat to the penguins, predatory seals, birds of prey and killer whales roam the beaches in search of an easy meal.

Omg this Channel like all the rest of the random people who have KZbin channels that plaster these films on here has NOTHING to do with any of this actual content. They steal existing documentaries that are owned rightfully by various networks and other entities / sites / tv stations etc. and all they do is exploit this already existing content and try and act like they’re somehow affiliated with it. Don’t for a second think these random people selfishly profiting and benefiting off content they steal are doing ANYTHING other than stealing content … they change titles to avoid detection and copyright infringement and make up these absurd descriptions to try and make it look like they somehow are affiliated with the actual entities that own and produce and have worked hard to provide such content .. But no… this Channel most certainly does NOT have one thing to do with these already existing videos …I’m actually shocked how many people don’t actually know that.. I’d think at some point people would see the content put out by its rightful owners and realize all these ridiculous channels are exploiting the already existing documentaries these channels rip off .. they can share content all day long and I’m fine but when they’re trying to deceive people into thinking they have one thing to do with any of it - when they benefit selfishly plastering ads and monetizing crap they have No ownership or right to even post , that’s my issue. I don’t ever report these people but they’re dishonest and self serving and deceptive as crap and have no right to profit off any of these ALREADY EXISTING FILMS…

Seems ridiculous that you would need to take penguin eggs to eat....like why would people even be living there if they're not able to have food to eat

When i was a kid and saw "happy feet" i wondered why the seal was portrayed as a penguin eating carnivore, few months ago i discovered what a leopard seal is, sheeeesh.

You know leopard seals aren’t the only ones that eat penguins, right? Some sea lions hunt penguins.

Lovely documentary, just one slight oversight thought worth mentioning. When it said there are no native land mammals that is not quite true. There was one, the Falkland Island Fox, just human settlers drove it to extinction like the Tasmanian tiger

It used to be a terrible place for penguins considering the falklands wolf or warrah fed almost exclusively on penguins. Unfortunately evil men exterminated the warrah and the last one was shot in 1876. Now it's a predator free paradise for penguins.

I always wonder why, when a situation like that abandoned penguin child presents itself, that film crews don't intervene and take it to either a zoo or one of those rehabilitation centers to make it healthy before releasing it. It's one thing not to interfere with the natural order of things when animals are hunting or something, but in a case like that I think getting involved is better than not.
@iaminsideyourwalls2021
@iaminsideyourwalls2021 11 ай бұрын
That's still intervening. No matter if the animal is hurt or not, we are to not intervene in any way. That's just how nature works. Unless the animal itself comes up to us for help or something

@Cuong Nguyen Yes I know that my friend, The Malvinas is the Spanish name. But he's saying that they're NOT The Falklands and they're The Malvinas. If he'd have said that The Malvinas were what they were called in Spanish then that's fine,BUT he's not saying that, he's denying that they're called The Falklands as he's clearly referring to the war. Whether he likes it or not they were ruled by The British, he's throwing politics into a wildlife video, where there is no place for them

Every time I hear this dude narrating, I can’t listen to it.. every sentence he has the same exact inflection with the exact same tones and drags out the tail end of every single end of the sentence the same way, with this upward inflection that irritates me…. Also how are these random KZbin channels able to profit off exploiting all this already existing content that DOESN’T IN ANY WAY BELONG TO THEM?? They have no permission and change titles to avoid detection and copyright infringement/ violations and yet they plaster ads off content they steal and benefit selfishly?? Dude share the content , whatever but it isn’t in any way your property , you’re not affiliated with any of the entities that own or havea thing to do with this content, so no way do you deserve to benefit off simply uploading other people’s content and profiting from it.. It’s annoying How these random people with a KZbin channel that do NOTHING but take other people’s existing content and post it, while they try and come off like they’re somehow professional ANYTHING whatsoever, affiliated in any way.. They’re not!! Omgness it gets annoying. Stop plastering ads in content you don’t even have rights to plaster on social media!
