I met Nathan East in EU a number of times and once in London. He is the most humbled PERSON not only musician that i ever met. EVEN if he could really act as it is: A number 1, a super top masterclass. Regading Dom Famularo, another legend. Thoughts to him for his departure. 🙏🏼

Nathan is a true professional who is very skilled and equally humble! My brother was good friends with the late great Gene Page. Gene found out that I played bass and invited me to watch Nathan doing a session at Baby O studios in LA in the mid to late 1980s. Nathan blew me away with his musicianship, professionalism, joy, and humble vibe! That was a fantastic experience and a blessing!

I met Nathan before an Eric Clapton show last year. I ran into him outside the venue walking around before the show. He was riding a small bicycle. He spent about 10 minutes with me taking music. I play in “bar bands” and told him so. He extended the same musical respect to me and made me feel like part of the community regardless of my professional stature. Extremely nice man. Much respect.

Thank you for sharing your great story! It's always wonderful to hear about the humanity of the artist, as we can perceive from your story that Mr. East is definitely one of the truly down to earth and kind musicians, in addition to being one of most gifted ones! Blessings to you and to all and to the video uploader for sharing this.

Nathan East seems to be such a nice, thoughtful, and kind individual. He has certainly worked for his success and deserves every bit of it. I had the good fortune of seeing him perform with Eric Clapton late in 2021 and his skill and versatility was evident and inspiring. May his career continue forward for decades to come.

What a great interview! This friend of mine is a great bass player and got me interested in listening to the bass lines of songs. To my amazement there's a whole new world going on down in the lower registers of music that I was not really aware of. This interview came up and I decided to watch it and I'm so glad I did. This guy is just amazing! What a great attitude and a great outlook on life. He's recorded with so many artists and done so many songs that I don't think it'll be any problem finding samples of his music. Come to think of it, I've already listen to samples of his music in the past and didn't really know it.

Thats the thing. In those days if you had talent you had a chance to get up. Today, a talent is someone who payed there way in. Even if they have no talent. Not all like that, but a lot, a lot, that way. I hope we can get back to the real deal. Thank You Nathan and Dom for what you do.
