Sham, right now I live in Sacramento California. i was 15 in 1990. lived in small village in Maharashtra Karnataka border area. Close to where Kantara story takes place. I can assure you with first hand experience the movie is extremely realistic. I have witnessed the the rift between forest department and local tribals.
