Absolutely true! We just all have to remember we can’t hate something just because we’re told to or we don’t understand it. It’s very easy for me to say I love Dan and Susie! Just a normal couple with a different accent! I have a Texas accent. Difference is what makes the world go around. It would be a boring place if we were all the same. I love learning about Russia from Dan. I try to tell some things about myself and my home as most of us do. I am so happy Dan started this site and I found it by accident! Always excited for his next video to pop up! Much love from Texas!!❤️

I Love Russians. I met a adorable couple when I was 7 or Eight. I was on my way home from school and they were Moving in. She had a Russian Wolfhound and I’m a sucker for all creatures. He loved me and she said He knew a bad person. And I was not a bad person . She told me I was the best thing that happened with them moving to my Home town. Being 8 years old I loved her immediately. She taught me to sew and knit. It’s like we all were family they were the very best neighbors. I’m sure you guys are as well. There is a nice house with Land for sale down the road. It’s has about 7 acres of Land and a really nice Barn. It’s not Florida. It’s the Mountains of East Tennesse. I’ve lived in 4 Countries. Nowhere I’ve been has been better.

Here in America, we struggle to keep out illegal immigrants (нелегальные иммигранты) mostly along our border with Mexico! Most of them come here to do illegal jobs, or sit around on our Welfare system (социальные пособия), and some do come over for good reasons. But, when you come over illegally - who knows which type of immigrant you are? Watching this man and his darling wife (дорогая жена) I know they would be welcomed by EVERYONE in the U.S. They have taken the time to learn English, learn about our way of life, and may wish to live here someday. Greetings from Seattle. I was an exchange student to Archangelsk when I was in high school in 1989. I studied Russian language and history for 4 years. I love Russian people. I have forgotten the majority of the Russian I learned. I can still read it and still have good pronunciation. As much as you want to learn to speak English better (you speak really well already!), I would very much like to refresh my Russian language. You add Russian words on the screen in this video. You should do that in ALL of your videos. It will help people like me who want to learn or re-learn Russian. Every little bit helps. Small steps. Thanks for your adorable videos!!

True, I think the confusion comes from the French, who have adopted and repurposed an English word that is applied to horse accomodations to serve for cars as well. We have garages, which are secure outdoor private buildings; 'parkings', which are parking garages with open spaces, and there are parkings with closed compartments, called boxes, which can be rented, or may come with an apartment, for example. It comes, I suspect, from the usage of 'box' as equivalent to a 'stall' in a stable, and may be a hangover from horse & buggy days.

I'm happy to see you adorable Dan and Susie! Here they provide the oil and all else needed to service the car. Men need to go with woman often because sometime they will take advantage of woman and charge them more. We love you both as well!

So great to see an honest mechanic and no line up for repair. Early worm catches the worm......meaning, you get up early to do what you have to do and it is all good.

In West Texas we have some trees called "Mesquite". They have very long thorns similar to the tree you showed us. Thank you for sharing your day with us. It was very interesting, and the nature walk with the river and pine trees was nice.😊

True Janey Sue. We too live in west Texas. Mesquite trees are everywhere. They have beautiful wood that makes such beautiful furniture and other things. Our next door neighbor has some special equipment and he made me a large bowl and a small bowl. They are beautiful. His garage is full of mesquite logs just waiting to be made into something. Our city built a visitors center and the entire floor is made of mesquite tree wood. It will last forever!

It's confusing that they have to go buy the product then have the mechanic install it. In the USA we drop off our car and pick it up when it's fixed. Maybe that is why it costs so much. 40 dollars for the service, that is ridiculously cheap.

I'm Portuguese... The funny thing about learning English, is that i actualy understand it quite well, write it acceptably, but it's damn hard to speak it with good pronunciation. To put it mildly: When I speak english, i sound like if i'm chewing a shoe while i talk 😅 I notice, that like Dan, I also talk a bit slower when speaking english. It's a sort of a process like "think what to say -> translate it in mind -> say it". But weirdly enough, it's faster if i'm thinking things inside of my mind in english. The problem really is in the mechanics of putting it flowing "out of the mouth". I think it's like learning how to play an instrument. It doesn't matter how much you study the theoric, or how good your teachers are, or if you listen and observe others playing it... you will only become good at it if you actualy practice it and insist in playing it! No one can learn how to play an instrument without actualy playing it (a lot). I also notice it specially in french. I used to be relatively good at it when i was a kid, but now, because i haven't practiced it in years, i pretty much lost it... 😥

Watching your videos lifts my spirits. I adore life, people, animals, birds, the ocean, and all things mysterious and beautiful. So I love your appreciation for the true meaning of the word "adorable." You are all adorable. In the background, "You're Beautiful" is playing on your radio. Perfect. I have 4 children, all grown, some with children of their own. Over the years our home has always been open to friends. (Until Covid) Much of Canada is comprised of people from all nations and i am so blessed to learn of the traditions and culture of many countries through these friends of mine and those of my children. Most of our friends here in the wheat fields of the Canadian prairies came from Ukraine, Poland and Russia. We live in a tiny village (hamlet, actually) called Hazelridge, in southern Manitoba. The environment here is very similar to that of Ukraine, Russia, et al, that the Prairie provinces were appealing. Coming from Eastern Canada as a teenager, my schoolmates enjoyed teasing me with their customs. The first time one was eating perogies and I asked what it was, my reaction to watching him eat boiled dough wasn't favourable. Those buns, "pereshke" or??? Look delicious, baked in the oven to a golden brown. Imagine my horror when I snuck one out of my friend's Mother's pantry, took a bite, and found what I thought were.... I won't even tell you, in case I make you lose your appetite.... But it was sauerkraut. Baked inside a perfect dinner roll (bun). WHY??? Is still my question 😋 I had never seen sauerkraut before that, and found it terribly hard to understand why.... Why was it inside this otherwise splendid bun? Like a spring roll, but sneaky 😉 But to SEE you, today, sharing your life via KZbin is, unless I win a lottery, as close as I will ever come, sadly, to experience Russia in person. I laughed so hard when you punctured the packing bubbles and breathed in American "air!" Those things are probably filled from tanks imported from China. 🤣 I love you two, soon to be three. Thank YOU, my adorables. 💋💋💋
