How can there be 200+ positive comments here, but our politicians cant find one nice thing to say about eachother and get along. Hope people all over the world will start to see they are being lead into things they dont agree with and demand the change. Thanks Dan for bringing positivity to the world and uniting everyone, at least in the comment section! Hope all goes well for everyone!

@@RedShoez we have zero wisdom to govern all the knowledge we have. humanity is too ignorantly arrogant to realize that. humanity will always repeat the same stupid mistakes and will never learn. most folks cant even keep their families or marriage intact. people just dont like to see what they have in common but focus on what they have in difference. i doubt there will ever be peace for mankind when they cant maintain something as simple as that. we should get out basics right first before we get ambitious and discuss of perpetual world peace. everything starts from home and mankind have gotten to far ahead of themselves in promising peace when nothing we do mean it in areas that matters.

I work for Natural Gas company in Canada. I really enjoyed this tutorial on how Gas system works in Russia. Thank you, very good job. We also charge Gas usage at M3. Our gas meters appear similar in ways, however I do not see where pressure regulator is located. Ours are at the meter. Also, I found it interesting that Gas piping is above ground. Ours are all buried underground. Larger diameter and high pressure lines are typically steel, but smaller service lines are plastic. (On residential street and from street to houses...plastic) Stay safe and be well. Peace to us all.

I always said that it was the political system and their crazy leaders that held the Russian people (country) back. Putin could have gone down in history as : "Vlad the Restorer" or "Vlad the Rebuilder". Then he started trouble with and invading Georgia. Then invaded Crimea. Hi Dan, I am in the Northeast US and have the same kind of heat as you and since you are trying to improve your English, which is very good, what you call a battery where your heat come from, we call a radiator. My boiler that heats the water uses oil for fuel instead of gas. Most houses here use either oil or gas. Some use electric heating, but this is most expensive. Best of luck to you and your family. Its nice to know with all that is going on, average normal people still want to get along and be friends, not enemies. Be safe and well.

I think the battery thing is what Belgians call an 'accumulatorkachel' (accumulative-heater) and I wouldn't be too surprised if 'akkumulatori' (which I know from Ukrainian is a word for vehicle-batteries) is something that is used in this context in Russian as well. But his English is very good nonetheless.

Dan, here in New York we call the gas that heats our house “home heating gas” or just heating gas. It is universally understood that this is gas in a gaseous state of element. If we say “I’m going to fill the car up with gas” then it is universally understood that we mean gasoline ( petrol in Europe ). It's interesting the gas lines are above ground. Here in America we bury gas lines (mostly), especially in residential areas. We don't actually see the gas lines, but it also means when we dig in the ground we often have to contact the city first to mark any gas lines in the area. This is not always the case but is dependent on where you live. We know where in the ground our gas lines are, but having them in the ground inevitable leads to some accidents where people strike gas lines with shovels while digging. I wish yall the best and hopefully things get better overtime.

I am so happy you posted! I’ve been very worried about you and your family. Sati is getting so big! I loved seeing you guys be 🙃 silly. I live very far north in America, almost to the Canadian border by Lake Superior. It’s really cold where I live so we use a system that is called a boiler, which is similar to your parents because it is also heated water. What your parents have on their walls is called a radiator and instead of radiators, I have hydronic baseboard heaters. My system runs off of propane gas OR an outside wood burner that burns huge logs. If we use the propane gas only, it costs about $700 per month to heat our house in winter (and spring and fall). My house is large though, 3 floors (including basement) 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 2 living areas.

Really liking all the videos you've been making. It would be interesting to know what you were paying before sanctions so we can get an idea of how much more you're paying now. It seems the whole world is paying more for everything because politicians feel the need to put their hands in everyone's pockets, even from other parts of the world.

With hot water heating, the large heaters in each room are called radiators. I have the same type of heat in my house. It is considered old-fashioned, and my house is 100 years old.

Hello from Canada. Thank you for showing the world how simple Russian people live. You live just like us, work hard, pay your bills, take care of your family. Could you do a video showing what the average person income is. I’m sure people would like to see that to help put tings into perspective. Praying for safety for your family.

Thanks for showing this Dan. I used to work in a heating contractor business. I sold Buderus boiler parts, but in the USA they are used in large custom built homes and large apartment complex. We use Natural Gas or Propane gas for heat. Some people use heating oil, mostly in the Eastern part of the country, and some electric heat. Praying for your family and glad to see you!
