With the specter of the astros out of the way the yankees will hit just fine. They've had no trouble against the Royals or Guardians this year. The tigers would be tough to face right now but the yanks did ok against them throughout the year, even against skubal.

I love our boys in pinstripes! Lord knows I do! But I share in rhe jitters I see in the comments because how many times have we been here only to see them eliminated. These under dog teams like Kansas City and their fans are thrilled just to have made it to the playoffs and so have already won. There is nothing more scary than a team with nothing to lose, esp for the Yankees who have EVERYTHING to lose, comparatively. I LOVE the optimism here, though and I'm going to keep the positive vibe alive! Go Yankees!!!!!

KC will be tough, but not difficult. I'm concerned about Detroit. A dangerous team with nothing to lose. Must play smart, aggressive baseball. No stupid base running mistakes and platoon Verdugo and Dominguez.

I still remember George Brett's blast off from Rich "Goose" Gossage in the short perch of the upper deck in Old Yankee Stadium in Game 3 as KC won the game 5-2, and the Yankees were flushed out 3-0 in that ALCS.

The easiest path i don't think so but hoping for a better turnout , hoping the week off helps them but their inconsistency tend to follow them in the most important times and we all know that the team that gets hot at the right time is the one that becomes a major obstacles. All I know is I agree... my worries going in.. the layoff is bad for any team... then the orioles have played us tough all year and then the Astros seem to knock us out every year... Well, the layoff is still there.. but the O's and the 'stos got bumped already. Now they just have to fight the week off rust but the teams left are teams the Yanks fared well against this year. Still, have to play the games.

Seems some have a short memory of the team’s offensive woes (i) in the playoffs, (ii) against lefties, and (iii) against pitchers with a 4 ERA. KC didn’t luck out … they outpitched the O’s. It will not be a cake walk, and it wouldn’t shock me if the yanks get bounced.

It does seem like an easy path, however the Yankees have been very streaky this year. Another factor is that the Yankees have never won the World Series in a year that ends in four or five. Hopefully that changes this year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Yankees fan all the way, but the Yanks are a team with 2 hitters maybe 3 when Jazz is having a good game. The other teams just need to pitch around Soto and Judge. We're gonna need everyone on the team to contribute if we are to win each and every series. We can't afford to play serially unsuccessful players who haven't shown up this year like Rizzo and Verdugo and Holmes. Do or die boys. Lets go!

Joe I GET IT This is the Yankees Easiest PATH TO WINNING A WST BUT they have to prove it with there play. If I'm Aaron Boone I am pulling out all the fundamentals like bunts and stolen bases obviously sac flies because the royals will do the same thing. This series will not just be about the 3 Run homer or Grand Slam Pitching will win this series in my opinion.

I love the Yankees with all my heart, but, this line-up can't hit with men on base, after Cole, our pitching is hit or miss, and do I need to mention our bullpen? They can do it, but easy it won't be.

Joe, I Like your channel. I am glad the Orioles and the Astros are eliminated! But beware and remember the Royals have 3 good starting pitchers-Michael, Wacha, Seth Lugo and Cole Ragans. Royals can run fast and will probably bunt to make the shaky Yankees infield rush throws. Remember Rizzo is NOT at first base now! Wish the Yankees luck though. But this will probably NOT be an easy Yankees victory if they beat the Royals. Plus, Lets just take one series at a time.

You say you don't take the Royals, Tigers, Guardians lightly but in the same breath you say they don't scare you.
