Thanks very much Mat. The instructions in how to zero a scope are much appreciated. And they were easy to understand. Keep the good, easy to understand videos coming.

Going to buy a Walther Century for my 60th birthday. Back in the day when I had an air rifle or 2 I would site up with a large sheet of card. Clamp the rifle into a work mate BENCH and shoot a pellet. I would then adjust the Tele sights to zero into the hole in the card. Had good results. Now tell me why I was so so wrong. Cheers. BSA Airsporter SE with walnut stock. Wonderful,I thought I was The Jackel. Lol

Another great show Mat. Looking forward to your next episode. I know you prefer the accuracy and consistency of PCP's, but will you ever do an episode on hunting with springers? I think that is something many would like to see. Maybe set up on a peanut feeder and bag some squirrels. ATB, Michael

Me too, BeachGunner, I enjoy my 'springer' rifles too.

Thanks Michael. We have done a hunting video with a spring gun but it was quite a while ago. Time for another - we'll try to get it lined up before too long. All the best. Mat

Nice show Mat, I'd like to see more shows on the use and features of some of the newer springer rifles on the market. I do realise that the manufacturers like to show off their PCP's but being as 'pricey' as they are, some of us viewers don't have that kind of budget.
@theshootingshow7 жыл бұрын
Good point, Reg. We'll do our best to get some affordable springers lined up. All the best. Mat

Hello, I started hunting way back in the early 80's, My first rifle was an ASI Sniper, bagged a few rabbits with it. Then onto a HW80, the rifle of the 80's...then onto pre charged BSA. No not much shooting now just have .25 BSA break barrel for the odd Rat and Squirrel in the Garden. Great videos.

hi Mat i have no legs and love shooting do you know any wheelchair friendly places to shoot keep up the good work!
@TheCraigy837 жыл бұрын
honestly mate youre gonna need an all terrain type chair then you can get around and probably shoot in a lot of places...any competent bike mechanic can make you something faaar cheaper then the rudely over priced mobility offerings...i myself have worked as a professional mtb trials riders macanic and worked in a bike workshop over a decade an now am making recument trikes after seeing how dirt cheap they are to make.i worked on a guys trikes he didnt have use of his legs his trike had a hand crank set up..i would see him everywhere going like clappers in the buslane drafting them 😆

Just a quick question Mat, what do you do with your squirrels?
@theshootingshow7 жыл бұрын
Me and my family eat a lot of the squirrels I shoot - I reckon the meat is better than rabbit - and some go to friends who keep ferrets. All the tails go to friends who use the fibres to tie fly-fishing hooks. Cameraman Nicky Brown ties his own flies, and is always grateful for one or two tails... All the best. Mat

Hello Mat Manning, and other Airgun colleagues.Thanks for your video's, I live watching them all and I learn a lot from you. A question for you I have; I have bought the Russian Ataman hunting Rifle M2 cal. 30 muzzle velocity 300 m/s and 130 Joules = 96 fpe. I use 3.25 gram pellets, 52 grains. Can I use this rifle for deer and hog hunting in countries where this is legal? Many thanks in advance for your support. Kind regards Richard

@mustafaalbarak91577 жыл бұрын
Hi Mat. Two questions I need to ask you. In February 2017 I bought my new Russian Ataman M2 Carbine PCP Cal. 30. The energy it deliveres is 130 Joules, muzzle velocity is 300 m/s. I live in The Netherlands where there is no legal limit to the power of airrifles. Mat, using JSB pellets Exact Heavy 7.62 mm 50.15 grain, or Predator Polymag 44.75 grain pellets, considering the countries where it is legal, what is the largest game one can hunt with this rifle? And what do you think of the Russian Ataman brand? (I believe it is really fantastic). Thanks a million in advance for your response. Good luck with your Airgun shows. I love your work. Greetings from The Netherlands, Richard Mulder

If you are exploring you shouldnt have a gun, do your exploring, ground clearing and observing without the gun.. then when you take the gun you can be stealthy and because of the pathways you cleared. No wonder the residents are on edge, you sound like an elephant crunching thru the undergrowth.. Also whats the point of masking up when you fidget around like your sat on an ant hill.
