Penguin has some great stories in the comics. As for riddler, it depends on the version. You're likely thinking of the arkham version but the brave and the bold TV show version and the 60s frank gorshin version are amazing

Amanda Ramos the way he talks, the intensity of his eyes and his posture suggest he likes her. It's called peacocking and is a total unconscious behaviour men adopt when they want to impress someone they like. See how he's "showing off" with the statuesque pose?straightened back, squared shoulders, spread legs (at the beginning) and the way he keeps his arms along his body showing his muscles. He's unconciously saying "i would be a good strong mate for you"
