First comment is right. It’s actually an exclusive character added to allow the actress to be in the movie. She originally played the black and white twins on broadways. She looks almost like Cassandra except for her face make up.

@@jackieheidorn5875 You Think the Lightning from his Hands was Stage Magic, I know The Explosions were, and so was Metamorphosis, So You Think he had some Plasma up his Sleeve Too. And I'll Have you know I was in CATS, and I saw it Live On My 16th Jellicle Birthday, 16 Years to the Day When I became a Jellicle Cat. And It's Only On the Video where I See Lightning. This Includes CATS 2019.

@@LittleJoeTheMoonlightCatyeah the lighting is video effects. Also the sound effects like the typewriter sounds in M&R and also the sound effects of skimbleshanks with the whistle are not in the show. 2019+ 2023 also have wires that pull grizabella above the stage and no stairs

@@LittleJoeTheMoonlightCat also it’s now different outfits for gus. Prob because gus and bustopher jones are the same actor on the tour. Makeup and wigs changed in general. But the stage magic is perfect on tour. The explosion stuff is real, they have a jacket with lights for mistoffelees and a big explosion for macavity which is surprising.
