It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! My brother treated his siblings to a weekend in NY City. We stayed at the Waldorf, went to Max’s, among other things and saw Phantom on Broadway! Phenomenal! My daughter is still angry that I saw it without her. 🤣

I know she is! In fact, our fellow Phantom Phans are getting restless. I can’t wait for Phantom to return to Broadway! I don’t know when that will be. Things are really bad in New York City right now. So, it’s too dangerous for we Phantom Phans. I hope nothing bad has happed to The Props! I don’t know where The Props are, but, wherever they’re being stored, I hope that it’s a safe and secure location! Where do you think The Props are being stored? Any thoughts?

You should have no problem getting it online, Ebay or Even netflix might have it. There is a DVD that has Phantom & Love Never Dies on the same disc. I saw Phantom for the first time in 1986 & now 37 years later it still moves me to tears. Phantom is my number 2 on the Best Musical Ever. It is just below Les Miserables which is my best musical of all time. Now that bings you to tears.@@martinjelinek3676

@@mradyers yess I get you! I was in my local theatre's production in 2021 in the corp de ballet as there was 4 of us teen girls who danced ballet together and another 2 who joined. From there I became OBSESSED, I remember watching it from the wings/rehearsals and dying over it lol. I saw the full Ramin/Sierra performance online in May and like cried over it HAHAH. I went onto my country's online market and found a DVD of it and I thought there was not going to be any at all so I'm so glad I found it. Probs never going to see it live in a theater apart from the production I did.
@Mr-tu4cj11 ай бұрын
I saw it on Broadway in the mid 2010s, but I still wish there was a good filmed version available to the public. The 25th anniversary singers are quite good, but the sets, lighting and effects are terrible. I know it’s because of the venue, but I’d love to see a true Phantom performance professionally filmed, especially of the original cast! That would be incredible, especially for those who never got to see it! It’s a crime that people who didn’t see it live are only exposed to the boring movie, the weird touring production, and the more concert-like 25th anniversary.

So sad that it's Broadway run has come to an end. This has been the greatest musical for 3 decades but i saw "Love Never Dies' in Melbourne & that was the equal & many critics judged it better than Phantom (That's a big call). After ALW saw the Melbourne performance he said LND Melbourne production was the best production of it in the world. I saw LND in Sydney about 3 months later & it was nowhere as good as the Melbourne production, a real let down. After all these years my personal opinion is that LND was better than Phantom. The set was incedible with characters singing & dancing 40-50 feet above the audience & terrific lighting & a story line that neatly packs up the story of the Phantom & Christine. I am not giving away any spoilers but the way LND ended there is definitely the scope for a third show. I really hope ALW produces another one. It is wonderful ALW has allowed a DVD of Phantom & LND to be purchased rather than insisting that it can not be done for copyright reasons.

Yeah, I know. A majority of Love Never Dies productions are absolute dumpster fires! It’s like they take Phantom and absolutely turn it upside down! It’s a disgrace! I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s great to see that The Phantom and Christine got back together, after 10 years apart. But, if you ask me, Christine should have chosen The Phantom, and let Raoul get away! I mean, she kisses The Phantom right in front of Raoul! And, it’s at that point when Raoul realizes that she’s made her choice. And, I am a major Raoul hater! Sorry, Raoul lovers!
@helpstopanimalabuse8153 Жыл бұрын
Never liked Raoul. Definitely punching above his weight. A pretty little barbie doll thinking he is gods gift to women, not a real man like the Phantom. There is a fabulous DVD out there for Miss Saigon. Lea Salonga usually played the lead but another asian girl plays the lead & on the cover of the DVD there is no mention of her name & that is disgraceful. if Lea was in there her name would be all of the cover. This young lady is of equal to Lea & deserves her credit. She is a very talented triple threat. I have never seen Miss Saigon live but it's on the bucket list@@christinedaae7323

WHO said love never dies is better than phantom?! I’m not judging, I’m glad you enjoyed it, but I find it completely absurd! Well, I’d still like to see it live anyway, because I think it’s fun if thought of as a fan-fiction…
@Mr-tu4cj11 ай бұрын
@@christinedaae7323the phantom is majorly abusive! Christine made the right choice. Love Never Dies is so weird because it is basically Christine coming back to her abuser, and ALW randomly decided to make Raoul an abuser just to make the Phantom look better in comparison, even though Raoul was completely normal in the first. Forget that in the first one he killed people, stalked Christine, and kidnapped her twice. Then tried to kill her boyfriend to force her to marry him. The best ending to Phantom is the phantom realizing he was wrong and letting Christine have her happily ever after with Raoul, who ACTUALLY loves her ❤
