Because we are a part of nature.. we should be one with it, we are meant to live in it but we forgot about its importance on our body over time after living in big cities. We always see manmade stuff around us and don't realize that we need nature. It's always good to spend time among the the trees, at least as much as we can. And of course, if your life allows, then you can live in a town where trees grow big and birds sing without the noise of cars.

I've always been very easily distracted and even as a kid I was always jumping from one thing to the next within 5 minutes, but I could always go on hour long walks in the forest without any distractions like music or a book, most of the time I wouldn't even take my phone with me at all. If I could "like" this video every time I turn it on, there would be so many more numbers. Like others have said, this is the balm for the ragged soul, or the long dreary winter days when no type of music, lovely or not, can fill the void that nature and time spent in nature provides. Since childhood, I've been extremely oriented to the outdoors and as more and more areas are destroyed in the name of progress and development (and money) it's harder and harder to access it. This calls out to every fiber and cell of my body. Thank you so very much.

i'm so happy that i've found this newfound appreciation for these sounds, just going outside and listening for them is a great way to feel a bit more connected to the living breathing world, and a relief from my usual mind. birds chirping is like soundwave radio signals that carry with it the story of their experience, just as humans do these birds also live in a system and i'm sure they find a lot of meaning in what they do, and i think there's probably something to learn from them and what they do, thanks for these, it's also helping me go to sleep

I have to applaud your channel and your valuing of actual realtime. So many multi-hour ambiance videos loop after, like, 5 minutes, so your whole channel is a breath of fresh air. Do you travel often to get different areas?
@TheSilentWatcher3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I aim for as much diversity as possible, but I also have looped videos :)
@henrybrowne72483 жыл бұрын
Boy do I ever second that. I too want the real thing. Those fakey loops--the ones that I've examined--don't even last 5 minutes. It gets weird and kind of stifling after a while.
@sandville23962 жыл бұрын
@@TheSilentWatcher Can't support the compliment enough. Looped videos are a red flag for people who are really actively listening to relax themsevles. This video is gold and saved in my meditation list. Thank you!

@@TheSilentWatcher i think that looped vids arent that bad, aslong the loop is long enough. if the loop repeats every 5-10minutes it is just annoying after a short while. so thank you very much for this 8 hours of pure nature

Very cozy. Not for sleep, imo, due to high pitch and irregularity, but nice for just chilling and relaxing. Like when you too tired to listen to music but not yet going to bed and still want some sounds in the background. I find it gently stimulating, like I was really sleepy, but now I feel more alert.

I had almost forgotten that natural sounds are really the only thing, where I can deeply focus without distraction. Better than any kind of music. You are giving me peace of mind with these videos while I am trying to finish my masters degree. Thank you!

The sounds ARE amazing but the smell of the forest along with the sounds of the forest cannot be beat. That's why the internet will never be truly "real".
