I am a mental health therapist and I use this in the background of my sessions. It adds such a calming presence to the environment of my office. TheSilentWatcher, you have no idea the difference and impact that you make in the lives of others by offering videos like this. I can feel that in my personal and professional life as well as from reading the comments posted by others. Thank you.

This is so beautiful and it makes me forget about all the pain I feel in my soul and the pain I see around. When I listen to it ,it brings a smile to my soul and feel happy. Sometimes I just want to live in a place with sounds like that and away from this loud and mean environment that I am now

Agree! It's like it triggers that uncanny valley / anxiety vibe since it's an unnatural pattern in what's supposed to be a natural space. Our primate ancestors are probably screaming from the past, through our DNA, to get out of that strange forest 😂

Yesterday I had to put my dog down. We were able to have a vet come do it here at home. I had the window open for the birds outside to sing to her, but I didn't think it was enough. She listened to this for three hours before it was time. It continued to play in our home and I paused it at 6:23:34 ... I'm not sure I ever want to let it finish. It should always have more to go. Thank you for sharing this comfort for others.

As a matter of fact, the world had stopped back then time as it was around the time of the first and biggest lockdown that happened all over the world and there were almost no planes flying. @@gregorallnight371you've no idea how fun-tasticly correct you perhaps are. 😊💚 I know a place... a small forest place... next to a river... below the mountains... where I absorbed my first LSD and overall smoked serious amount of weed there... and another place... up that same river... with ammmazing, ammmmazing wild panoramas all around (that includes the river from above, few forests, the mountains infront of you, from end to end, and the mountain peaks, and of course - open fields and spaces all around... where I smoked so much weed... ahh that magic, that area... spent and will spend so much time there, again and again... I crave these places. There I am able to meditate and cleanse. And to travel. With a train and my bike, and also kinda in time, too. I would take everyone who is interested, there with me. Now that I'm back in the city I miss it so much...I feel my Heart broken without nature and trees. Because we are a part of nature.. we should be one with it, we are meant to live in it but we forgot about its importance on our body over time after living in big cities. We always see manmade stuff around us and don't realize that we need nature. It's always good to spend time among the the trees, at least as much as we can. And of course, if your life allows, then you can live in a town where trees grow big and birds sing without the noise of cars.

I grew up in the eastern woodlands and now live in the southwestern desert. I love my life, but find myself dreaming of walking through forests of oaks, birches, maples, ferns, with snakes, frogs and turtles in the ponds and birds that sound like these. I miss the smell and the moisture in the air. This helps a bit, but I really want to get back there before I die. Thanks for the memory.

This forest looks exactly like the forests where I grew up. It gives me such a sense of nostalgia and peace while I'm sitting in my flat in a big city, trying to study for my upcoming exam. I've always been very easily distracted and even as a kid I was always jumping from one thing to the next within 5 minutes, but I could always go on hour long walks in the forest without any distractions like music or a book, most of the time I wouldn't even take my phone with me at all. Can't wait to go back as soon as I'm done with uni 💚

If I could "like" this video every time I turn it on, there would be so many more numbers. Like others have said, this is the balm for the ragged soul, or the long dreary winter days when no type of music, lovely or not, can fill the void that nature and time spent in nature provides. Since childhood, I've been extremely oriented to the outdoors and as more and more areas are destroyed in the name of progress and development (and money) it's harder and harder to access it. This calls out to every fiber and cell of my body. Thank you so very much.

A BIG THANK YOU! I spend a lot of time photographing trees and listening to birdsong while I am about it but I have never recorded it like this. Now - as we head towards the cold winter months and I spend less time out and about - I can listen to this recording while editing photographs. Once again: THANK YOU VERY MUCH for making it available. Keep Well!

I love your channel, your videos are wonderful! I love birds, and live in the U.S. Love the birds here, but also love to hear ones from other places. The American robin and blackbird sounds totally different from the European ones, fascinating. I am blind so cannot see the pictures, but love hearing the birds, and all the other nature sounds.

Living in Michigan, with our long winters, I do so miss hearing the birds singing outside. The added cloudy skies almost all the time, makes my Seasonal Affective Disorder take over. I bought one of those artificial lights, and along with your very beautiful and calming video of Deep Forest Birdsong, I feel like life is renewed and spring is here. Or at least until it does come around, I will enjoy your forest bird songs that lift my mood more than I can tell you. Thank you TheSilentWatcher...

Hello Silent Watcher! Thank you for making the distinction about the looping video and the non-looping sound. Bulgaria looks very beautiful! I always wondered what countries like Bulgaria and Albania were like when we studied them on the map in grade school. Many people from there have posted nice content on KZbin. I hope I will be able to visit Bulgaria, the Balkans and maybe a steppe one day. Until then, I will enjoy the sweet sound of birdsongs as I work on the computer. Love & light to you! Best wishes for 2023!

i'm so happy that i've found this newfound appreciation for these sounds, just going outside and listening for them is a great way to feel a bit more connected to the living breathing world, and a relief from my usual mind. birds chirping is like soundwave radio signals that carry with it the story of their experience, just as humans do these birds also live in a system and i'm sure they find a lot of meaning in what they do, and i think there's probably something to learn from them and what they do, thanks for these, it's also helping me go to sleep

I have to applaud your channel and your valuing of actual realtime. So many multi-hour ambiance videos loop after, like, 5 minutes, so your whole channel is a breath of fresh air. Do you travel often to get different areas?

Boy do I ever second that. I too want the real thing. Those fakey loops--the ones that I've examined--don't even last 5 minutes. It gets weird and kind of stifling after a while.

@@TheSilentWatcher i think that looped vids arent that bad, aslong the loop is long enough. if the loop repeats every 5-10minutes it is just annoying after a short while. so thank you very much for this 8 hours of pure nature

Very cozy. Not for sleep, imo, due to high pitch and irregularity, but nice for just chilling and relaxing. Like when you too tired to listen to music but not yet going to bed and still want some sounds in the background. I find it gently stimulating, like I was really sleepy, but now I feel more alert.
