I went for a simple overnight solo camp DOWN UNDER in Australia's Blue Mountains this week as I was feeling a little under the weather. Turned out to be some of the best views i've seen!

Hello mate..I don't even have a tent for me nationwide walk just a Hammock on its way. Starting to think maybe I should of gotten a tent to. That fog with the cliffs behind was breath taking. Any time spent out doors is good for the soul aye. Glad you were able to return the faulty Tent to.

Absolute luxury if you find a great small tent. I have a lightweight one man hiking tent that has plenty of sit up and head room and plenty of room for all the pack and all the gear..I'd be lost without out it.😅

I think moments like standing before a view like those amazing clouds ... especially alone, right? A seemingly solitary witness to something so epic in scale and beauty - I find it's hard not to feel something stirring deep in my bones, in my soul. I always have a "This. This is what I live for" moment. Another great nature emergency shared with us. And it was fun to interact live with you during the livestream - so glad it went well! (It's always fun spending time watching your videos.) Hope you feel better soon.

I live not too far from there - moved up here 6 months ago. Looooooooove it in the Blueys. We visited that exact spot a few months ago and no, it's not our glass. We love getting home from the grind of a work day in Sydney, eating an early dinner and heading out for a stroll on some easy bushwalks around sunset. It's like your having a mini weekend every day after work. So much to explore, we've seen plenty but there is far more to go.

Good on ya for addressing more of the live stuff, that was a good show. Bit of hunting would be awesome, maybe start off w something fairly simple like goats, not as much recon work as deer. Funny thing about The Revenant: id seen YT ads for it and was hanging for like 7 months for it to come out. Couldn't stop thinkin about it, finally a decent woodsy movie! Finally the time came, i dragged the missus an hours drive to the "local" cinemas all excited, 9pm session after a hectic work day in the bush. Sat thru 2-odd hours of the most epic stuff ever, then started dozing off, missus poking me trying to keep me awake. Eventually crashed out just as they were about to do the final fight scene! Missus was so cranky she wouldn't tell me who won, made me wait another 3 or 4 months till the dvd came out to see the end! Devastated! 🤣

Dude! I actually think I did the exact same thing when I finally got round to seeing it at the movies! But I woke up at the final fight scene and wondered how it got to that 😂 Great movie though. I actually fell asleep about 15 minutes into on this night. Earliest nights sleep I had all week haha Good idea about starting with goats. I’ll keep that in mind mate

What a great spot, absolutely loved that morning fog BTW my name is Ian but my nickname is prounced Ian-oh, thanks for getting to my question! You have earned your coffee stripes with the mini hand grinder/bishop choker. I have a rhinowares one but the design is exactly the same. Freshly ground beans out in the bush is one of lifes simple pleasures. I use a small moka pot instead of the frenchie press as you don't need as much grind.😃
