I get the nostalgic element of the 'I made fire chest pump' element, just carry a bic lighter, bet you do but use these old methods on camera to make it look like your struggling, still wanna know where all the water you would need came from? My first theory is, you have help, others carrying camera and water but you make it out as if your alone.
@TheSillySwagmanКүн бұрын
Righto legend. Have you ever started a fire at that elevation with the wind blowing in those temperatures? It was with a bic lighter you loser. Go cry on someone else’s channel you pathetic little mouth breather.
@TheSillySwagmanКүн бұрын
Alone? There’s clearly a second person on camera with me you numpty. We’re not princesses like you mate, we can carry a few litres of water.
@caltravels9454Күн бұрын
Where are you getting your water from?
@TheSillySwagmanКүн бұрын
Hey mate, we took about 4 litres each and topped up at camp creek on the second morning, as the name suggests there is also a campground there. Then we filled up on the third night at Wonnangatta River

You did great with your Alton Goods field test .. I'd watched many YT adventure/ travels vlogs/ trekking & some off-grids channels, and found your channel, for sure this is to best YT Channel, honest, funny, silly and a serious side - as you create ramblings of the environment you're in, the birds, fish, flora and fauna, sunsets, sunrises, rock formations all around you Well guess what?, yep, Ive taken the big-plunge and selected some cool gear from Alton Goods. I'd been looking at camping gear, walking trails gear that are durable, lightweight and functional, and this week.. Since I'm a water-baby from a young protege 7yo, and that's been my life really, snorkelling, fishing, diving, boating, jet skis (ocean toys) and also sketching it all.. somehow I've been gravitating towards landlubber gear! haha thanks to you and this demo (which I've watched a few times now).. I'll test out this new gear end of this mos 2wk vacay thru Vic- NSW coast/ trails .. Lol 🌄🚶♀🏕🔥🍽 🍳

another gooden.. it's intriguing just listening to your ramblings about life, environment and nature around you how you can relate that to, thoughts, stuff in general... you've got a wicked soh, I find myself laughing as well, even when you put the GoPro on Fango and you fell over and Fango ran to you and licked your face (nawwwww 😋), I laughed at that too...

Appreciation and gratitude will always give you that gut-feeling... connecting to the environment, nature and the planet... very special feeling to have... that's another reason why more people should graduate towards the outdoors, whether that's a drive/ walk to the beach and just watch the waves, a walk in a park or just about anywhere outside/ outdoors will do that, 'breath in that air'.. You do that 'appreciation for all that you see and discover', in your videos, and that's inspiring, it seems to create a captivating mood with-in you and we sense/ experience that with you, connecting to the moment you experienced..

mmm hmm! looks real good. Watching you build the wheel paddle-thingo from scratch, the fire, and waiting 3-4 hours to cook it was Epic, to watch u carve that tender flesh open, well... Perfecto-Mundo baby!!

It seems strange, but we all seem to feel the same way, 'it's like we know you.. you seem to connect to us aswell, (likeminded-types you're talking to)... you talk and ramble to us like you know us... You got this🤗, we all look forward to your future 'action, travels, words of life experiences, camping, fishing, cook ups, more cool thoughts straight out of experience, food... ' ... love the absolute- free way of describing your thoughts... so refreshing "find some cold water, baptise myself 🤔 find cold water and dunk🤩,.. nahhhh "rise like a fenix!!"... yeah! that's the one... all of above.

Hahahaha so bloody well put 😂😂 I’m right there with you mate. It reminded me so much of my time in the army, carrying some extra section stores or weapon system, hanging off a shoulder or strapped awkwardly to the pack and having it get caught on every single branch imaginable while it all weighs about 40 kilos 😂😂 He was giving me ptsd every time I turned back to check on him haha!

I was an Infantryman in the American Army, after watching some of your videos it's funny how the humor that you get while an infantryman seems to be almost universal. I did have the pleasure of working alongside Aussies while deployed and they were by far my favorite allied nation to work with. Love the videos!

do you ever see forest people ( the hairy kind) in your travels. I saw one two years ago, first time ever in my 64 years on a 7 night hiking trip in northern NSW, in a NP. It scared the shit out of me and a friend. We saw him in the twilight evening plain as day' he was 40 feet from us just standing there, he backed away quietly and disappeared. You can imagine we were pretty freaked out all night, but he did not come back. I wouldn't take anyone into that area again to try to find them, I don't want them hunted or harmed. But it was a surreal experience.

Mate that shit in the fireplace reminds me of a weird encounter... Hiked into Morton NP a few years back and just off a corner on a windy decent was what looked like 2 feet worth of turds in a pile then what appeared to be a third of a shitter roll just strewn over a tiny tea tree. How anyone could shit that much was bewildering. Then I went back to the same spot maybe 6 weeks later and I saw the exact same bloody thing only just done again not a day or two before. Like wtf seriously?!
