OMG I have been making this in my crockpot since the 1980's. The smoked sausage potatoes a diced onion green beans. I put zucchini or yellow squash on top too. I layer it like you did but in my crock pot then when we got home from a ball game (I was a coach for 10 years) Then it was fixed & ready to go for a late summer meal. New sub. I love a good chuck roast. The smell of supper already cooked in the Crock-Pot is heavenly when entering your home after a long day of being away. We do our version of the roasted vegetables with turkey sausage or Polska kielbasa routinely. So easy and delicious. Thanks, Abby for all you do for your channel. Refreshing ideas are always welcome. Oven baked bacon is the SECOND best way to make it.... in my opinion!! The very best way is on your Traeger grill or other wood pellet grill! ZERO spatter in your oven or on your stove, you don't have to turn it if you don't wish on the grill.... no flame so it won't catch fire. Yummy!! I always have cooked bacon in the fridge for an extra zip to a hamburger, or quick BLT in summer when you have a garden full of tomatoes. However.... not very budget friendly for many I realize, to have this cooked all the time, but many uses for it if a person can splurge!

You should try a Lipton beefy onion soup mix over the toast with a cup of water in the crovkpot with your roast and carrotts and it is amazing you'll never fix a roast again without it again!!!!

If you added some lettuce on yop of that and some french dressing it would be my taco salad...its. 2 lb hamburger and taco seasoning you cook the hamburger when done add your 2 taco seasoning and your 2 cans of chilli beans when thats all heated up you put some of that over corn chips with some lettuce shredded mexican blend chz some cut up tomatoe and pour kraft dressing over it and make taco salad and it is amazing!!!!! It doesnt sound real goodbut it is amazing I assure you!!!!!!!!

I honestly don’t think ground beef would be that good like this. If you mixed it up in the skillet it might but the potatoes need to cook for a long time
