I'm so pumped for these! I skipped out on the Super7 Ultimates Simpsons solely based on the weird character selections by Brian Flynn. Plus, they were too big and too expensive. These are the Simpsons figures I've been waiting for since I was a kid and collected the Mattel line.

Boy I’ll tell ya- when you have decently sized and crafted figures at affordable prices it makes all the difference. I didn’t buy the Ultimates until I could get them on sale but these ones being so cheap (for today’s prices anyway) I couldn’t get them fast enough. And going to a store vs just waiting for them to arrive in the mail. Experience vs convenience- sometimes experience is better.

I actually found the plushies at a b&m in the UK! The only ones I saw when I was in there was a home and a bart. My mum also told me of a Lisa one that I haven’t noticed. Which is funny because bart and Lisa’s shirt are almost the same colours (or is it “color”). I was about to get homer and Bart, but instead put Bart back on the display box and bought 2 of those angry birds plushies that cost £5. Also if you’re wondering about the prices for the Simpsons plushies in the UK, they cost £12.99.

Just wanted to tell you, I was sitting on the fence deciding whether or not I wanted to get into a new toyline, but your review of these guys made me pull the trigger, and I was able to scoop a whole set at Target thanks to you posting the DPCI number! Super excited to see where this series goes! We probably won’t get an Apu but I’d love to get Ralph Wiggum, Disco Stu and Troy McClure, just to name a couple 😅

The new ones just look dead eyed, at least most of the older figures tried to make them have an expression (except for willie). Hopefully they get around to making Sneed, or at least a Sneed's Feed And Seed playset, then I'd be all in!

These Jakks figures look great. I never see a lot of love for the Mattel Simpsons line but they were great sculpts and a lot of the figures had 6x POA which is amazing for 1990. WOS figures seem to get all the hype and yet many of those have fixed legs which is a backwards step.
