Side note: At 40:20 the 25hp model still had a fuel injection pump, but this 47 hp has three pumps associated with fuel system. I meant it didn't have a fuel tank pump when I said the 25hp didn't have a fuel pump.

Wow you upgraded. I have my Kubota LX3310 but I think I am going a few sizes bigger.

I have 2 LS tractors, a 73 horse and a 4O horse. Trading in the 414O for an MT347, but with a cab. Could not agree more about the high quality and affordable cost. The LS dealer between Marble Falls and Austin closed due to the death of the owner. I bought all three of my tractors from the dealer in Azle, even though it is not the closest. Good dealer and friendly folks!

That's sad, I did not know he had passed. I knew he had health issues, and spoke with him shortly before they closed. He did his best to not leave his customers without a dealer in the area. I knew he was trying to sell the dealership to someone else but the deal fell through for some reason. I assumed if it was a profitable business we'd still have an LS dealer in the area. I did not know how bad his health was. He was one of the few salesman that really cared about his customers and wanted to help them instead of just seeing the money. He was always genuine. That's a bummer.

About the emissions stuff, a year ago bought a 1999 Toyota Camry for basic transportation while out of town. The car drives great, gets 33MPG and is mechanically sound but it's a California emissions car and in the year I've had it and the only 3000 miles I've driven it, I've had a check engine light 3 times now, each time for a different emissions issue. I'm starting to think having a 25yo emissions system is going to be a constant headache, at least if I want to keep it operating as intended. I kinda wish I could just remove all that stuff and call it a day, as I said it runs and drives great!

lol, yeah, electronics just start to go when it gets old. It's one of the problems with tractors too. Buy older one with 20+ year old electronics but a lot of the modern emissions stuff gone, or buy new with it all at higher cost. I mean, I didn't have problems, they worked the kinks out and I think that's a big part of the hesitation back like 10+ years ago, things are better now, I just hate it long term, it's just even more stuff that can possibly go wrong. I like the fuel economy though!

I also forgot to mention that the online parts manual is awesome: lstractorusa.com/parts/ I do not know what other companies have, but their online manual for each tractor is excellent. I haven't broken anything on this tractor, but the smaller 25hp model, I broke a lot that I needed to lookup and have replaced.

Thanks, it is the only color tractor my wife would actually drive, all the other ones looked ugly to her!

wish they would make a decent brush guard. crazy how far it sticks instead of making it where you can open the hood and the move it back

Yeah, are there any brands that come with a good one? It's kinda crazy it is such a huge weakness across every tractor brand that I can think of.

Well you can’t change any of the rules so talk about the tractor 😮

Yeah, I don't do scripted talks, I go off on tangents a lot. That's why I leave Chapters so you can move on to what you like :)
