Ayaan Mathur he chose KZbin because he isn’t at the talent level of an actual designer at an OEM. There are guys in my junior level class that are better than him and they’re still not even good enough for industry level work.

I've been drawing cars for as long as I can remember. Used to draw them all the time during some of the boring classes. 3D modeled a few too. I have to say that the way you seem to make just the right lines emerge is truly amazing. You always seem to get the right angle and curvature in very few strokes. To me that's the hardest part when it comes to sketching.

I was too suffering from perspective sketches. I learned few skills from utube channel shoorayner, who taught to add a vanishing point i.e. elicpse(oval used in above video). I done alot of sketches as well as portraits. But have made few cars sketches free hand and using grid help. I also love auto designing, as my hand is very set in sketches/drawing. Art is all about imaginations. To be honest, whenever I sketch cars, I do add some background. Your videos is very inspirational for those pursuing auto design( I am too will be doing auto design as my career) I am glad that I visited ur channel. Thnx for uploading such good videos with simple explanations, which is understandable easily.....thank you.

@greggory76553 жыл бұрын
Hmm, ok do this: Make a rectangle in place for an engine . But make sure its not very visible if you use a pen , then make 3 eclipses. Elipse 1 as the front, Eclipse 2 as the middle but make it bigger than height than the front and back eclipses and ofc, the 3rd eclipse as the back. Well yous should have a circular *Abomination* But trust me its going to look better, now use a reference to make the connections for the desired type of car, if its like a lambo then do some aggressive connections like the lamborghini or if more like a tesla then just make nice smooth lines connecting the eclipses and now just add the lights. You should have a satisfying result

I do product design and our tutors want you to use pen to make you faster and more accurate when sketching because with pen you can't erase and go back. Makes your design communication much easier to follow. No " hairy lines". 👍
