Hi and thanks for the tutorials. I'm a beginner, question: I made two simple cube shapes similar to yours in this video and another one you made, when I moved one against the other and lined the H and V edges perfectly they did not stick. I pushed the space bar for the select tool and triple clicked but they highlight separately, and move separately. Can you help me understand

Hey, Justin! That was fun experimenting. Thanks so much. You're awesome! I hate to ask an unrelated question, but I didn't think you'd answer if I questioned on an old video. I've been going batty trying to follow along with the soap skin & bubble vid. My soap skin disappears every time I try to edit the X/Y ratio or use the smoove tool and I get nothing. Why? And will Soap Skin & Bubble not be available anymore after April 2020? Any clues?

Are you completing the shape before you try to use the smoove tool? And it should stay available - the author set it to expire but it always gets updated with a new date - worst case you'll just have to download again

@@Thesketchupessentials Oh, thank you, Justin. Actually, my shape isn't inflating as I want it to. I may be mistaken in thinking the x/y does what the bubble does. DUH! No wonder I kept winding up with such a mess. Thanks for informing me that all may not be lost with the extension. I was searching for anything that may perform the same function as Soap Skin & Bubble. It's nice to know I don't have to. Thank you so much for all you do, Justin.

That's a weird question. Like asking "what tools for beginners in a toolbox?" That totally depends on what you're doing. If you're a mechanic, you probably don't need an axe, but if you're a lumberjack, it will be very helpful. A beginner modeling what exactly?

how to unnMERGE those merged geometry cubes

Generally try not to merge them in the first place. Theoretically you could select all the geometry associated with a cube and merge that.
