Just started the episode and right off the bat, there is something I have found to be untrue. In my dental education, there was a very big emphasis on patient psychology and bedside manner. I graduated in 2019 for reference. A lot of dentists these days are mixing things up and doing things differently. Not only that but we are open to change and adapting. There are a lot of pros and cons about my profession but being someone who can change the perspective that others have of the dentist is on of my favorites.

BTW all these foreign dentists that talk about oil pulling never talk about how women shouldn't do it during their periods as it draws up the womb space (Dr. Deepa Apte founder of Ayurveda Pura) also if you're going to swish for long its important to spit out the oil or herbal water ie. triphala and give it a fresh round of pulling otherwise the germs will be reabsorbed
