Threats of violence in a low voice usually work
@NightshadeDE27 күн бұрын
Don’t threaten them, just call their bluff. 99% of them want you to get violent or aggressive so it’s easier to potentially get something out of you legally or under the table threats. Best bet, stay calm and continue to explain why what they are doing is wrong. Don’t take jabs, stay as neutral as possible with your tone. Your goal is to piss them off like they are trying to do to you. They lose any frivolous lawsuits immediately if they lose their temper enough. Protect yourself and try and be content knowing they are just very sad people, as engaging or comforting will only hurt you

The trail one is funny to me because my brother and I had something similar happen when we were teenagers. Our family owns some land in the ozarks, and one year during deer season we found a guy who we didn't know walking around the woods on our property. He obviously wasn't hunting, he didnt have a rifle, wasn't wearing camo, he was just walking around the woods. When we told him he needed to leave, he said he knew the owner of the land, and he's been hiking there for years. My brother just looked him in the eye and said, "Sir, we eat tresspassers around here." I can only imagine what went through his head hearing a couple of long haired boys wearing dirty camoflage and carrying rifles threaten to eat him but he did decide he wanted to leave and go hike somewhere else.
