11,000hp DRAGSTERS In NEW NHRA Drag RACING: Speed For All PS5 Game!!

When Forza Motorsports 7 came out with that drag racing experimental thing, it was cool. It would be very cool if Forza made a drag racing game that had 15+ drag strips( with separate small track maps) and had the whole pit parking lot where you entered the race track with your semi and trailer or pickup truck and trailer... and had to park and unload your drag car. Then enter the staging lanes and do a burnout and race. We really need that kinda game. Imagine multiplayer... sounds like alot of fun. Running a quarter mile time and then picking up your ticket to see your times and go back to the pit to tune your car/change parts or head for the staging lanes and run again. We need this kind of racing game. I think Forza is secretly making this a thing, but perfecting it until its ready. I know Forza Horizon games have drag strips, but thats not the same. An actual structured drag racing npc or online way to race equally with the tree lights and different settings like 1/8 mile if you wanted to. If you've ever went to a drag racing event you would know how it works.

I agree. In the '90s-early '00s we had NASCAR simulators, similar to the racing sims available today. Nobody has ever tried to make a "simulation-style" drag racing game, except maybe Hot Rod magazine back in the early '00s. I feel it's a market that's underappreciated.

Bro ong ive been wating and still there is pretty much no drag racing games like that where u can drive to tracks go in the pits tech your car, if one day all the big titels like forza and need for speed and a bunch more try and create a game like that it will change everything

Maple Grove is my home track. About a 20 minute drive from me. In fact NHRA will be in town in 2 weeks there. So will I!!! Can't wait!

It's definitely a building block for future NHRA games although it is missing some features like actual Manufactures (Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Toyota) most likely due to licensing costs and time constraints. Also, Maybe add more cut scenes like getting a Wally after winning race and being interviewed. Having your crew check over your car before the race starts and a crew member directing your car back to the starting line after the burnout. All in all its not a bad game.

They should do it like real life where you have to rip down and rebuild your engine. After every run your training includes being blindfolded and knowing where to grab all of your shoots, deploy your fire extinguishers that’s one of the things you do in training for racing rail drags, you have to build to know where everything is at without no vision, the graphics on his game are pretty damn amazing. The sound are awesome too.

As a lifelong John Force fan I have to say... keep your eyes down the track! Stop Killing John Force!!!!! lol seriously though, I'm always on the fence about drag racing titles, and this one doesn't disappoint. Although that's because I don't have high expectations for these games. They're always made sorta arcade'y. But graphically this is awesome. A little buggy, but still good enough to be a 2022 drag racing title.

It may not be the most realistic game (which is what gives it most of its negative reviews), but it has realistic visuals and sounds, and hey, you get to go fast, that's all that matters to me. Love the Graphics but can you change up your setup like gear ratio for the rear-end and Transmission, boost level, camshaft specs, piston bore size, crankshaft size, tire pressure and size, wing adjustment, weight, ride height, weight ballast, Center of gravity, shocks adjustment, spring adjustment, Converter size, heads, intake, headers, Nitrous, blower, turbo, procharger, Nitro methane.........can you do any of those changes to this game. I remember on ps2 you could so all those adjustment but the Graphics was not good. To me I would rather have all the adjustment.

If they want this to appeal to the mainstream they need to take out the safety on the catch net stuff. You should be able to slam into it full force. That's what people want. Understand with the licensing and people's faces they don't want to allow that - every video I've watched on this game tried it though

This looks like fun but it’s getting hammered in the steam community and “no wheel support?” Ima wait for a few patches maybe before I review getting hopefully they will open it up to the mod community, of cause it’s only early days but it’s just not there for me yet. Las Vegas is modelled as the 4 wide track but the races are only 2 wide. And you cannot run into the net/catch fence. If you stay full throttle after the finish line the game still slows your car to a stop even while you still have full flames coming out the headers.
