For everyone wondering yes it will come to console. It' will be similar to steam workshop. But console with either have there own workshop or be able to download it from the steam workshop. It will be on console in a couple of weeks like normal PTR or updates.

This update littlerly saved the game. I've been playing since 2017 on mobile... now I'm using a wheel on a 4k tv..I just love watching this game grow, I'm pretty happy with it. 🎉

Adding modded maps isn't that hard once you find a download for one, love that they're adding maps to the workshop though. 7:34 is part of why I like modded better, can just activate no clip and zoom back up. Also Iroha is pronounced more like a double E, like in "Jeep", not "eye".

It was announced that they plan to somehow give access to the steam workshop to console, don't know how but they said that for now it's just a beta feature. Still pretty hype tho!

im a carx drift racing 2 player [mobile] and i use no assists [tilt] along with manual transmission (im not good at it tho i think), and I've been wanting more touge maps just to do touge runs, i seriously wish this feature follows to carx drift racing 2, gotta show how to run weak cars down touges ;)

Anyone who thinks CarX was better "back in the day" is actually just a crazy boomer. There's no way you can genuinely think it hasnt improved massively. They managed to improve physics, add support for modern wheels, and add so much content outside of mod support. I havn't played in a while because assetto is better for actual practice, but for an Arcade drifter, Carx is amazing and has done nothing but improve.
