If your taking suggestions: Trained Boxer, hitting heavy bag with good form. Trained for nearly 10 years but the mechanics of how much force can be generated from the body mechanics and shift of weight is really interesting. Seeing that in slow motion for the major punches would be really really interesting. Would have to be someone who has trained for a while and knows how to throw the perfect punches on the bag... Many trained boxers out there.

I always feel like on his channel he has planned things and knows they are safe so is able to be more open, but when he is the guest even on his own range he is being Scott of Kentucky Ballistics but also Scott the master of range and monitoring everything to be sure no one does something unplanned and unsafe so the split in his attention makes things less spontaneous. Interestingly, Quantum mechanical calculations do show the melting point of at least some metals decreases at extreme pressures. So that could be sort of a precursor to that. @Ki113r210 Жыл бұрын
I have a theory for the vapor puff out the front. I'm gonna guess that Scott mechanically pushed the squib into place (as opposed to actually under loading a round and banking on the squib getting stuck) so the squib wasn't fully engaged in the rifling, leaving just the tiniest gap around it. Then when the round when off, it created a piston that rapidly compressed the air in the barrel before the squib, causing the water vapor in the air to condense back into a liquid, along with any trace of oil left in the gun (which was likely brand new, guns are usually shipped with a thin film of oil to prevent rust)
@ShadowMage3D Жыл бұрын
My exact theory.
@doctordoggo86047 ай бұрын
I don't think he said that the .bolt rifle had a squib. My theory if that is the case is that the chamber pressure elastically deformed the barrel, widening the internal diameter and allowing the gas to escape, causing the pressure to drop and the barrel's internal diameter to return to its starting point.
@RichWellner15 күн бұрын
Watching this a year later and searching the comments to see if anyone else got this answer. This almost correct. What I think is wrong is the supposition that the gasses leaked around the squib. Remember kentucky said that the squib moved. I'm betting that moving squib compressed the air after the squib, which then cooled rapidly and the moisture condensed out. There is too much condensate and not enough smoke for it to be leakage.

The sheer amount of guns the guy has opens up so many opportunities for cool videos

4:08 "I have detonated this exact same gun before..." He certainly did an amazing job putting it back together again! ;-)

Scott gives the same vibes as that one British dude who witnessed the Blitz when he was a kid, and became an explosives expert out of sheer fascination.

I'm just glad he didn't get into gas masks & asking everyone if they're his "Mommy" ❤🤣

Scott is a really a nice guy when he does not play his role (in which he is amazing too!)

just got recommended his original explosion video the other day, watched the followups, and thought "this guy needs a slow-mo camera or eve better, a slow mo guys collab", and here it is a week later. You're welcome everyone for manifesting this amazing video!

Slo-amo guys + Electroboom = confused,awkward. SMG+KB = calm?,scientific. I never know what I'll get out of these collaborations, but it is always learning. I'd love to see some of Scott's guns in y'all's very fast frame rate. 4 hour mag-dump? Uh, no. But how the case ejects differently sometimes. How air is forced out in front of the projectile. How KB's zombie torso experiences energy waves & bounce back, even on his recent less-lethal guns. And of course, how the table flip fails! Y'all are great!

I hope Scott furnished you lads with some fresh "Stick a Thumb in it!" Tees after the Kentucky Roulette session!! His survival was incredible. What's also awesome is the way the community pulled together and made content for Scott's channel while he was recovering.

Thanks gentlemen for sharing this with us. It gives us a better understanding of what happens when you don’t respect firearms. From overloading or using the wrong gunpowder to squib loads. Always, always, always, always treat them with respect and caution. Best of 🍀luck to you and stay safe guys🇺🇸👍🏻❤️

That had to be one hell of a reaction Scott had when he 1st saw a message from the slow mo guys. Even a super star like Will Smith seemed unusually geeked out working with Gav and Dan. Def YT legends now.

I am one of the people who suggested this colaboration. Somehow It is fun and heartwarming to see people from such radically different cultures and mentalities come together in friendly cooperation. They have different senses of humor as well. So it is great seening people get along. It gives me hope for humanity.
