My father once took a pigeon to the head at about 80mph, whilst riding a motorcycle. He says he woke up on the side of the road, his visor shattered, and a concerned motorist standing over him, calling for an ambulance. The pigeon had exploded on impact, and the motorist had thought my father had experienced some sort of catastrophic injury.

Glad he was ok. I had a similar incident but not nearly that bad, took a 2" dragonfly to the left eye at about 60. I was wearing a helmet and, luckily, OSHA rated safety glasses as shades. Made quite a mess.

I once was on a bus trip, the bus was passed by another car going probably 90mph and it took a bird to the windshield rigt after passing, creating a WALL of bird in front of the bus. I've almost never laughed so hard in my life! We were seated in the front on the second floor, perfect view of it all. As I'm now a motorcyclist I really wouldn't want to hit a bird while riding.. I've ducked for one once, and had some fairly large insect strikes.

The feeling of things going full circle here is mad, i think it’s fair to say that the myth busters influence is pretty clear in the slow mo guys content (and I meant that 100% as a good thing) so to have Adam working with them is just perfection. He also looks like the exact mix of knowledgeable, cautious when needed and totally mad that he always seemed on mythbusters, epic episode!

It's crazy how his channel just appeared out of nowhere fully formed. I got recommended his first video by the algorithm, was subscribed within 30s, then experienced several stages of grief when I realized it was the only video on the channel. ... I say fully formed, but each video since has surpassed the last by like... too much. Within 3 videos I expect him to sculpt something the size of the moon, and start a space program just to get a specific camera shot from space for a 3s cutaway gag.
