It seems to me that when the FTM400 first came out it had a quick firmware update that was required when it first came out as well. I don't remember why. 73

Thanks for the video. I've only had my ftm 500 for a few days. After programing about 50 memory channels both vhf and uhf, just today when scanning the memory channels either vhf or uhf when the scan reached the end of the last memory channel the radio locks up. I couldn't change the channel either up or down. Wierd. Hope this firmware addresses that also. Thanks again great channel.

Banks are not in any of the recent Yaesu radios like the 300, 200 and 500. I think it's pretty clear they deliberately went a different direction. You can mimic having banks by using different SD cards to store different memory group profiles. Not great, but something.

They didn't fix the recording bug where it records the mic no matter if the setting for it is off or not. This really sucks when trying to record satellites to hear my own self on the signal.
