I can't tell you how much I appreciate you putting the traditional pattern text below your hands where you are showing the stitches. Reading patterns has been difficult for me, so I've been relying on videos. This helps me bridge the knowledge gap between the two!

The crochet shawl was my reason to start crocheting. 2 months ago, I thought it was way to difficult and dropped this pattern and did some other patterns first to get a feeling for wool and stitches. Now I started it and find it so easy to follow and I always smile when I skip the "Single crochet disguised as double crochet". Thank you for making it so easy to understand and funny! 🖤

Thank you very much for that well written pattern of the virus stutch. I have made two blankets for full size beds and I made one that I use as a Summer curtain with a caron cake and a half. I made thin ones and thick ones but I never had a pattern. I wrote it down but always forgot one or two things so I followed people on youtube. Finally I have the pattern. What a treasure for me! My sincere thanks.

I absolutely love your channel! You make very high quality videos, easy to follow directions and I can definitely tell the care you put in to the videos. I'm new to crocheting and you've been a life saver! I'm really glad with the variety in your channel and some thing that I would be more interested to see (as a teen crocheter) would be: -some more thin yarn lacey things which I could apply as details onto knit garments -definitely more garment videos in general, I've absolutely seen the huge variety of colorful and funky/fun sweaters and tops and skirts in the crochet ig community and I'd love to see some tutorials on those kinda things (like the better sweater!) -fun sleeve shapes! Balloooon sleeeeves -more layered, ruffley and interesting textures! I hope I'm not coming off as too aggressive or something just thought I'd give some audience input! Love your channel!

Aw, that's so good to hear! I'm glad you're liking the videos 😊 and I actually really appreciate your input. I want to keep up with what my younger viewers might want which isn't always easy as a busy 30 something yr old mom 😂 so that was very helpful! I'm already inspired to make some new videos based on your feedback

Really love how clearly you explain and demonstrate the virus pattern shawl. You made it simple to crochet along with you and gave tips to easily remember the pattern. I'm using the Red Heart #4 variegated yarn Boutique Unforgettable in Parrot-pink purple blue green sand-colourway with a 5mm hook. So fun to stitch up! Thanks. Love the yarn you used too.

Hi there! This is a BEAUTIFUL shawl and I’ve been wanting to use my Shawl In a Cake yarn for a while! I wanted a one ball project and this seems to seal the deal for me! I’m trying this shawl out now! A few days ago I tried to make this shawl and it seemed a bit hard so I frogged it and started over today and I’m really understanding it this time around! Thanks for the tutorial, you made everything so clear and you’re a great teacher! :-)

My first time trying something like this and have a question. Row 9 starts with chain 3 but then the tutorial says to make 10 double crochets in the first chain 7 so i start with the equivelent of 11 dc's. Since the video doesn't complete row 9' do I end with 10 dc's in the last ch 7 and another in the top of the ch 3 that started below so that both sides are equal? Sorry but I am not sure what to do and my project is on hold 18:11 18:1 18:11 18:11

I have tried to copy the pattern so manny times I in tears. I cant do it! I want to and can't. Cant get the pattern either. I was killed in a house fir and lost everything. I love to crochet! I am really trying to do it over and can't afford to buy more. This isn't a hard one to do. But I can't get the pattern and no one gives a damn to help me your trascripts are to hard to follow. I give up!!!! The stinking fire should have killed me for good. Because NO ONE WILL HELP ME. Well, thanks for the tears. I am beginning to thing crocheters are in a world or threir own. I have nothing. But thought I could at least crochet which I love. I don't know what to do. I have no computer, it melted and so did everything else. Even my dog Moose! I can't do it without a pattern and have no money because of meds and food. I'm sorry, you guys have broken my heart. It's not right. It hurts. To bad you don't see it!
@mik10kim2 жыл бұрын
Yours in the chain one places need 20 or it will be thrown off and you will rip out 10000 times like me. Sorry but, I counted and almost messed up, all stitches need 20. You may want to adjust the pattern just by 1 and put 20. 🙂

Kim Vandergrift You can change the speed of the video by clicking on the 3 dots that stand top right and another tip : if you tap 3 times on the left of the video, it will come back 10 seconds before.
