Yes, I use a 1 to 1 solution of water and lye that I make ahead of time. Them add extra liquid as needed to make a soap depending on oils used. Soap Maker 3 software helps me with this alot!!

@@TheSoapGal ; according to the SM3, using the 50/50 solution. say for instance, it has premix needed: 27.78oz and extra water: 20.18oz. Do you substitute the Aloe Vera Juice as the extra water of 20.18ozs. Or do you add the Aloe Vera Juice in conjunction with the extra water of 20.18oz. And if so, how would you know how much of the Aloe Vera Juice to add since it's not calculated under the Additives section.

It's a colorant or it's not a pigment. Think of it in terms or sugar, sugar is white but when you put it in food it doesn't make them white

@@TheSoapGal My dry skin and I will have to respectfully disagree with you Soap Gal lol! I'm an artisan soapmaker and from experience that soap would be very drying and uncomfortable for me with 40% coconut oil and a 5% SF no matter what other oils are in it. I realise it's an activated charcoal soap so it's probably designed for people with oily skin not people with skin like mine. Please don't mind my comment, I was just a little taken aback.

@@boop7313 I also use Hemp Seed Oil in mine, along with Coconut Oil and other oils. I have psoriasis and it helps to moisturize my skins and lessens how much medicated lotions I have to use.

You should put music on while you blend and why do you yell at the camera when you speak? And your shirt looks filthy, I don’t expect your clothes to be glowing,but I kinda expect you to look a little cleaner Plus shouldn’t you have scraped your essential oil blend out of your jug

Goodness, this lovely lady is offering assistance to anyone that is interested, to help them expand their home businesses, and you are rudely commenting on her appearance and volume? She is working with oils constantly and working very hard so its expected she would get some splashed on her during the day. I think she's awesome and her soaps are marvellous. She is also giving her recipes for free so maybe cut her some slack.
@alwyngreen72054 жыл бұрын
@@doll777nz when making videos there is expected to be those that disagree on some things. I never said she was a bad soaper.. I was only giving tips myself and if you read my comment I said I don’t expect her clothes to be glowing. And I said Shouldn’t you have scraped your jug not you should scrape your jug. Comments are read and taking the wrong way because you can’t see my face or hear the tone in my voice when I’m commenting, so try reading it a different way then what you are. Thanks for your kind perception of my comment. Merry Christmas 🎄

She’s so sweet and I think she does a great job at explaining and entertaining. Life isn’t perfect, People aren’t perfect, and I like that she’s “REAL”, not fake. I enjoy her video’s. PS: I”m a mom, homeschooling and new soap maker, (For my own family). I don’t care how young , pretty and in shape you are. She is REAL..that’s what we really look like. Power to you lady!! I love your video.
@pattimessenger62143 жыл бұрын
Maybe comments like this are the reason that she hasn’t posted for so long! Soaping is messy, oily business. Liquids splash. She probably has a few shirts that she wears to soap in because everything she wears to make soap I gets ruined. This shirt can’t be ruined. It is already ruined. Would you expect a house painter to dress in his best clothes for work?
