I bought the first GT cut from the Nike app in 2020 and I still use mine to this day.. best hoop shoe I’ve ever worn ever performance wise

To get lower to the ground I put one of my Kobe 8 drop in mid soles in and it was amazing. I could feel the zoom strobel unit under my foot and the court feel was much better. Definitely recommend.

I take out the drop in and use a regular insole and these get really light, better court feel and your right under the zoom strobel so its super bouncy

Such a bummer because I really do love the aesthetics of this shoe, not as much as the 1s but I do still really like them. I used the $ I would have used on this to get the WOW 808 2 Ultra which looks to be a much better performer is quite possibly every single aspect. Really disappointing that they downgraded the materials I LOVED the knit & neoprene combo 2 of my favorite materials.

i like the lebron 17 quite a bit so i think this shoe would probably be a solid option for me given the cushioning set-up. i’m only 6’0” and i generally play the 1, but i like feeling higher off the ground when i play, i’m gonna roll with these.

Have found two pair in Nike Clearance stores for $79. Absolutely love hooping in these. I have plantar issues and this shoe doesnt bother it which is perfect.

Nike underproduced the original GT Cut to ride the Kobe hype, and now releases this successor way overpriced for what it actually has. Nike can stick their GT cut line where the sun don't shine. Thanks for the review!

I hated the traction on this shoe, I'm glad you were honest about how it really wasn't that great. I think the fact that they weren't an instant "hype" like the 1's were pretty much explained why I could get a pair so easily. After trying the 1's I was a huge fan, but they made waaaay to big of change that I think messed up this shoe for me.

Not a fan at all. Design wise and cushion wise its a total NO. Court feel is very bad... Should've been a lower to ground more aggressive shoe targeted to PG and SF positions that need swift cuts and explosive direction changes. 1st version is far better.
