Before my grandma passed away, she had bought three tickets for me, my mom, and my sister to go see this. Even though she didn't come with us I still think of her when I hear these songs or watch the movie.

my school's choir saw this in nyc in april and we got to talk to some of the cast members after. mufasa and simba are honestly amazing. and the day after we had a clinic with an ensemble member who taught us this song, and it was honestly a dream come true lol. i can never hear it now without singing the ensemble part

It's very much worth it. I'm a pretty poor guy and only get to spend on shows like this once in a great while, but I don't regret this in the least. It was beautiful and made for a wonderful anniversary. The costumes alone are worth seeing it for, the music just blew me away!

Lion King is such an important musical to me. I have seen it on broadway four times between the age of six and seven. Now that I'm twelve, I want to see it again just to remember because it was the first musical on Broadway I saw and musical theater has become my life passion. My school does it but it is three different grades and a lot of people audition. I wanted to be a lead because it is my last year to be in our middle school play and then I go off to high school. I got the part of Sarabi, Simba's mother. I'm happy with it but I wish I had more lines and maybe a solo. Oh well! It is still going to be so much fun. Congratulations on being Mufasa, that part is a lot of work so you must be very dedicated.

I first read about the Broadway adaptation via a Weekly Reader article I remember reading about when I was nine, which was when it just entered the scene. I instantaneously thought of that memory when I sat through such a performance at Proctor’s Theater in Schenectady, New York that took place in February of 2011 when I was attending college at SUNY Adirondack, which I currently reside roughly four kilometers away from.

Throughout Primary School, (I'm British) I remember LOVING the phrase 'the sun rolling high in the sapphire sky'. I used it in every creative writing task possible. It still remains one of my favourite descriptions 😁

I finally got to see this in person at the DPAC in Raleigh NC earlier this year and it was amazing. Definitely a must-see!

I'm seeing the touring Show in Houston this June and am SOOOOO excited! Lion King was one of my favorite Disney movies and now this!!
