I also grew up watching Benny Hill. I used to watch it with my granny after Sanford & Son haha. I feel blessed to have been brought up on amazing comedy, amazing hip hop, and amazing art in general. There's so many clever lines that I love and all of his voices etc etc. Benny Hill, Mr Bean, Sanford & Son, Gomer Pile, I love Lucy, Golden Girls, etc...my granny and I used to sit up and laugh. I couldn't have been more than 4 y/o (b. 1985) but I remember it all vivdly. Humble beginnings haha.

Such a talented man with a greater troupe and also a very educated and learned person as he seems on the documentary about his life. I hope some day somebody makes a movie about his life, it would be very interesting.

i can't tell if you're being sarcastic as Benny Hill is a parody to other comics such as Python, Kenny Everett . No you can't find lame bland predictable skits but you can find genius' like Spike Milligan and his cohorts. Benny's there for chubby old men chasing young topless girls - comedy genius
@HeartfeltMomentsTGG25 күн бұрын
I completely agree, it's rare to find comedy like this today. The way Benny Hill could make people laugh with such simplicity and timing is truly a lost art. It’s amazing how his humor still resonates with people even after so many years. What do you think makes his comedy stand the test of time so well?
@HeartfeltMomentsTGG5 күн бұрын
I totally get what you mean! Comedy like this is hard to come by nowadays. Benny Hill had such a unique style that made everyone laugh, no matter the age. Do you think that kind of humor still holds up today, or has comedy evolved too much for this kind of show to work now?
