Yakuza games are the most content-rich packages you could ask for. Even the "short" ones have three games' content stuffed in there like canned sardines. I love this series, but the thought of going for those Platinums genuinely scares me. Like trying to count each individual blade of grass in your lawn.

The pocket circuit isn’t actually RNG. You have to use specific types of gear that are compatible for the tracks you’re racing on. Having the longest battery life and fastest gears do not equal a winning race, you have to take in consideration of how the tracks are designed. There are guides that show exactly that. This applies to Kiwami 1 and LaD Gaiden

Dude I’ve had that happen before thinking about auto save or that I did and lost so much progress. God Bless you for keeping going after that. Once of the most devastating things to happen when grinding out achievements and trophies.

I accidentaly overwrote my premium adventure save with legend mode losing about 50 hours of progress when all I had left was mahjong. In the end I decided to complete everything again in legend mode half a year later. I don't regret it, but damn was it painful in the moment.

I'm nearing the end of my 100% playthrough currently with 105hrs and I couldn't agree with you more about the grind, rng, and annoying loading for minigames. I'd also give the game a 9/10, it's so unique with a very long but good story and has plenty to offer, so much so that the 100% grind is even bearable.

As someone who get 100% completion list done in 10 different Yakuza games so far I couldn't wait for You to tackle Yakuza 0. And It was a blast to listen to Your review about this game that took my life by a storm. So... For the Telephone Club: you wanted to look at the speed of the QTE for the Phone Ringing(Fast, Normal, Slow) and then the color of the undergarments of the girls. You only need 7 of 9 of the girls, because 3 are tied to 1 ss. It isn't as difficult as it seems For Batting: you look at Kiryu's animations, not the ball. When he starts to ready up, you then swing. As for 100% the other game: if you fell in love with Mahjong, then you'll love Kiwami!! Best of luck!!!

Yess I’ve been waiting for when you would do a Yakuza video and it’s finally come. I just recently did Yakuza 0 myself and clocked 100 hours. It is an incredibly long 100% but it doesn’t really feel like it because it keeps you entertained through out. Your never really at a part where your bored except at mahjong. Screw mahjong

yeah the only reason i managed to finish it was because i found a guide detailing the exact build for every race in the game including substory races, there is also a guide for the telephone club but its not as helpful since RNG is a big factor in that minigame

Oh yes I'm busy working on a roadmap guide, all easy contents before the final chapter of course the route I'm going for if people don't mind that. CyricZ has a lot of helpful tips and tricks on every Yakuza games which I use.

He should be able to do most of them now as I would say Yakuza 5 is the only one that rivals 0 in difficulty to 100%. Judgment and Lost Judgment are not too bad either so the only other one that’s as bad as 5 and 0 is Ishin because of the grinding

finished this franchise not too long ago (just waiting for Infinite Wealth to come out now to get my 13th in the franchise done). Very challenging, and fun. Took about 900-1k hours to get all of them done, even with strats on some of the minigames that had wonky physics. Excited to see where 2024 takes you for completionist stuff

batting is very easy when you realize you have to watch the bat and not the ball - when the bat straightens horizontally, that's when you swing. it's true in y0, kiwami, y3, and y4 (as far as i've played). good job on the achievements though! i have been getting all achievements in all of the yakuza games this year, and am currently working on y4

I've been watching These for quite some time now but never actually seen a video on games I've played/finished. The Yakuza series over the past year has been up there with my favourite story telling and mix between serious plot and a complete joke with the side missions that I ended up 100%ing yakuza kiwami 2, Song of life, Man who erased his name and now currently working on Like a dragon in preparation for the new one about to release and haven't gotten bored at all. Some of the side missions are a bit brutal in every game of the series lol

Other than that I hope you look forward to Y5 since that one will also take quite a long time to complete like Y0 since they came out close to each other and did the 100% completion achievements. Man, I've forgotten how time consuming it was to get the platinum for this game. Thankfully I used guides to get through most of the "trial and error" type of situations to speed things up, like the Pocket Racer or Batting Cage mini games. Getting the gear parts was probably one the last trophies I got as well, only because I wasn't able to get a specific one. Not sure if it's a 100% confirmed and I forget the details, but I believe for some of the rarer parts it's actually easier to get if you DON'T invest a lot of money into the search. I wasn't aware of this until I already spent a good hour or 2 doing searches.
