I've been playing this game for 2 days now. Found this build by myself yesterday. After the first time, I made it to lvl 400, and upgraded thorn damage to 51% from the start of the run with the coins earned from that. This build is craaaazy good!

Worked for me. Before I died on wave 39 Tier one. Now I got to wave 150 and died because I fell asleep 😂👍 Edit: managed to get to the 1500 area now. You typically get killed by the ray which does double dmg… any ideas how to handle that ? Edit : wave 3500 ish now… can deal with ray by using recovery packages now … Vampires are the greater problem because knockback nearly freezes them and they keep leeching hp.

I don’t have to do anything. I can just start up a game and set my phone down and get to round 120 easy. Yesterday I just dumped all points into the damage tree and got to 550 before I ever got hit

There's not really much that can be done about the ray. What has worked for me though is getting recovery packages from the utility upgrades and trying to max out how much they give you. You can tank a lot of the ray shots when you pair it with defense and defense absolute and more health.

You can actually use an auto clickern🤣 downside is you can only upgrade one upgrade or you do multiple clicks and get random upgrades depending on where you place the clicks

There's nothing to do, absolute defense just becomes bad at some point. Switching to something like an early game blender will help you push more waves.

Btw lifesteal is very worthwhile, because once the enemies have like, 25k health, your healing a max of about 6% of the damage you do, then you can unlock knockback upgrades, which can be pretty funny XD

wow, this is really helpful. was stuck at wave 62 (previously focus on atk speed, dmg, multishot, and rapidfire for upgrades). decided to invest in def abs, defense % and a bit of thorns on workshop. two runs later, first one managed to get to 100 where i decided to end it prematurely. second one, it's still on going and (at the time of writing) managed to get to wave 320 (it's been more than an hour, only 2x speed with 2.5x on research) without damage. got at least 2.4k damage buffer before they can do a single damage. also, is it better to go for Fortress (abs def) card or Extra Defence (def %) card?

This build works well for mid-game too! I use the basic principal of this build and that for me to tier 5 so far!

So when you get the coins to get the unlocks you can add some knockback and stuff like that so you just get as much health, money, coin, damage / attack speed / other stuff, orbs, range, and stuff like that. Easy wave 1,000 if you have the upgrade unlocks. you can max out a lot of upgrades this way. when you get wave 1,000 you should try out tier 2 and try to get wave 300. if you suceed, switch to tier 2. otherwise keep doing tier 1

Great advice, that’s the stage I’m at right now. Farming Tier 1, Wave 1000 for upgrades to help me in Tier 2. Knockback/Orbs for the trash, Thorns for the Boss works very well.

I am surprised by how effective this build is with such minimal investment. I was already hitting a wall at T1 wave 45 but just by changing cards and focusing on thr upgrades mentioned my next 3 attempts ended at waves 111, 223, and 420. Even if I am unable to push past certain waves at this point, the coins earned from using this build can easily fund upgrades in otber stats.

I went attack speed and echo. Don't get anything else right away. Your going to die a few times, but once your speed and echo get up they won't be able to touch you. The best part about my build is that you can adjust your style to any kind. Every style needs speed and echo lol.

See, this was my strat at the beginning, too. I put everything into attack speed, damage, and crits just so that nothing could touch the tower.... that way I don't have to worry about defense. But TRUST ME it's WAAAAAYY easier to upgrade your defense and ignore the attack side. You can easily get hundreds of waves on Tier 1 with this defense strat. You just need defense absolute and cash upgrades....... that's it. As long as you have any amount of thorns it should work. Thorns makes the enemy kill itself and the more HP the enemy has, the more damage it deals out automatically!

Thanks so much for the tips! Bevore Video lvl 45 now after 2 days im on lvl 643 and still going. Small update after 2 weeks im on tier 9 125 /Tier 1 2690. at some point you need too get dmg up. (Recovery helps allot on this build Too)

thx for the tips it helped a lot, also, I missed the "cash" card (I had "enemy balance" but not this one) so I replaced it with free upgrades, and it actually made it even better for me, I had similar stats as your build with like 50 levels under yours. I think it actually make the build even better.

Thanks for the vid, my performance got better but I am killed between Lvl 22 and 28 even my absolute defense is higher than the enemy damage. Did they change something on the app?

Idk why but sometimes i take damage even if my defense absolute is higher than their damage. I died on wave 80 with 30% thorns, 10% defense and my defense absolute was 3 points higher than the enemy damage, but they still dealt damage and killed me. Anyone have an explanation?

@@crobert74 i think bosses might deal a bit more damage, but I haven't figured out why this was happening before moving on to other builds

every time an enemy attacks you, the next time the same enemy deal 1.04 times more damage. this is self multiplicative and even if you "shouldnt get hurt" you will if enemies hit you enough times (no. bosses deal the same amount of damage as normal enemies)

Ummm, has this been patched? I am doing it and it is working but sometimes I have an absolute defense value of +10 than their attack and I somehow die? Am I missing something? Edit: It is not patched, but bosses starting wave 60, deal dmg to you when they explode, so you have to have a little bit of hp upgrades.

Hello, I think you needed more cash upgrades and overall more defense absolute upgrades. The start is always hard but if you had enough cash from the beginning like him he had 1.5x cash bonus. It will really help you make you keep upgrading defense stats.

Interest Per Wave is pretty useless past like level 40 or so. I've read later on there is an upgrade or a lab research to increase the max value, but at $50 per wave, you're already making more than $1k per wave anyway.

You are correct, it gets a lot less relevant later on but it's useful for a new player to start things up when pushing the stages. Most people advise against researching higher Interest limit, but I think it's ok to get it up to 1k or so, it helps me a lot on Tier pushing and helped in the early game.

If an enemy attacks you for more than 10 seconds they slowly ramp up the damage. That’s why thorns is so important

I have a question, why if my absolute defense is way above ennemy attack, if there are too much ennemies on my tower for a while, they start to damage me ? Does their attack increase with the time if they are not dying ? Maybe something that ive not researched yet can fix that ?

Thats because every time enemy attacks you, they get damage multiplier, and it stacks. So killing them within few hits works better for the long term strat with Turtle build.

Enemies get additional 4% damage on each attack, so longer they attack your tower, the stronger they get. Get the Thorns up and it won't be that important.

Did they change something (mobile version) cause i take damage and die already in early waves although the enemies are doing way less damage than my absolute defense🤔 and no there are no enemies that do more damage. As soon as there is a larger swarm (each one not even doing half as much as my absolute defense) it does lots of damage and i die quickly🤨🤔

fun fact, this is awesome for later stages of the game as well. wave 1400 or more, you will maximize most things but what's needed is to have enough health to survive a boss, everything else will doe by itself once you unlock orbs. if your health is half that of the damage of the enemie bosses, you may reach over a thousand waves soon enough

I suggest you collect your first billion this way. Then respec as blender. Take super criticals. Health to damage ratio 2:1. Get target priority and prioritize fast, this helps with elites. Further up balance damage to hp and get target prio 2. Elites bottom.
