i deal with scatters with thorns. If you get a substat on a module you can get over 100% thorns, so everything dies always when touching the tower (except boss). Then you only die when enemy dmg will become greater then your tower hp+def. You will also deal with ranged when they are shooting. i also see you didnt take coin trade off. That is the best perk to take. Those 80% extra coins are huge. With the labs done it becomes 98% extra coins. The only reason not to take it is if you need those cells by getting like a couple hundred waves further. The 70% hp less isnt that much, enemy dmg scales quite fast (outside of tier 1)

Thanks! Need try to get that substat, since I will be running Blender for a while and those guys are a bit annoying with all that swarming. Will add that strat to the guide on the Game Vault. I was doing a push run this time, so I was focused on surviving as long as possible instead of farming coins :)

@AcabJef I’ve been trying to get thorn substat to no luck. What module do they spawn on? Is it worth spending gems on modules or no?

@@KarmaticWays the thorn sub can only go on the armor (square). For me its worth to spend all my gems on modules. I have most cards maxed and 15 slots. I would say get a fodder set and upgrade that. Once you have a good base you can start spending gems on modules.

If you get the module substat for thorns having over 100% on thorns, and using Plasma Cannon later can make it where the boss only gets to hit you once. Currently have 101% thorns, and 54% on the cannon. So the boss gets knocked down to 46% life and thorns kill him on the first shot. As for the Vamp, it takes thorns damage when it reaches you, But Garlic thorns helps so much, maxed does 5% to him while he does 2%. 20 seconds he is dead. Defense % maxes at 98% will take a while to reach, but should help.

"Normal thorns dont affect vampires" this is just false. it still works exactly like every other monster, getting up to your tower and physically attacking it triggers thorns. The vampiric laser type attack tho, is not affected by normal thorns, only garlic. The whole point of garlic thorns is to have them kill themselves to the drain attack. Alternatively: If you have Target Priority unlocked, the trick to vampires is set them as low as possible on your priority list so that they can just run straight to the tower, hit it melee, and trigger thorns to death.

Oh yeah, I phrsed it wrong. I meant their anniying ranged attack, in melee they are dying just like anyone else. Target priority tip is great for players who don't have garlic thorns!

Never seen a vampire get into thorns range without first killing you or you killing them, so don't really see why this is even a point worth arguing.

Yeah, they changed the game completely for me. Will level them up a bit more and focus on survivability afterwards.

How long does it take do get your first uw?

It's pretty easy to get, I think you get it after your fist Event if you score high or purchase some stones with medals.

Can i use death rays to kill vampire? Or death rays is based on dmg and can't kill triangle enemies just like boss?`

Death ray cannot kill elite enemies :(

My highest wave on tier 1 is 1059, I've got past wave 1000 about 3 times and every single time I've died to a scatter
