I've had this pedal for almost a year now and It's so sweet!! All I use it with is my overdrive on my GK Backline 600. It's worth every penny.

I own the pedal for about a year now and it is awesome. I bought mine new and it is just sick. I love the fact that it is a no click pedal because when I use it I need it to come in do a quick and fast lick or a "mini solo" and get out as quickly as possible so that feature is a must for me. I use it with my Boss ODB-3 Bass Overdrive and it sounds great. I tested a bunch of pedals but Cry Baby came out as the winner. I use it for my guitar as well and it plays good.

Awesome demo dude. I've had one for years but could never figure out a use for it, or how to use it to sound good. I've got some ideas now. I've never even wanted to get ride of it cause I've always had a thought in the back of my mind that some day if I sold it I might regret it.

Great review, just wanted to know if anyone could recommend this pedal vs. an envelope filter (i.e. Micro Q-Tron, Bassballs, etc.)? Any feedback would help, thanks!

Got mine used for like $60. Cosmetically it's beat to shit. The circuitry and pedal executes perfectly though. That's what matters!

Hey man here's a question for ya. What if you use a regular 6-string with a "bass" wah pedal? Will it sound better, loose signal or just sound different?

i'm using my bro's profile, i'm unemploid. i bought a 105q a while back. i wish i could make a video. my pedals and gear have been in and out of the pawnshop. if you can make a video of the rocktron mike orlando wah for me, that would be awesome. it has a bass mode and a dry mix.

You use batteries?
@FrostByte_AC10 жыл бұрын
Because my pedalboard is full, yes ATM I am forced to use this with a battery. But it lasts quite some time.

+Ben Joshua (Rafkins) I know this comment is a year old, but I have the same problem. It's the button that deactivates the pedal when you take your foot off. The button gets worn because it's always pushed in when your not using it. This is a BAD DESIGN. It should be an electrical contact instead of a button or even another mechanism involving the plastic piece that turns the gear. This pedal is not meant to last. It is so unreliable and terribly designed that I think we could file a class action lawsuit against Dunlop. The life of the pedal is not one or two years, it should last at least a decade before a piece like this fails. I have no idea why they thought a physical button that is always pushed in would hold up. Push a spring down for years and then see if it comes back up to the same height. It won't. Dunlop I want my money back!

You need to open the pedal to fix that

I had the same problem, and i just cut the shape of the rubber for better contact with the button. 0 money waste and now after 1 year keep working perfect!

Is it best to use this before or after a fuzz pedal currently I'm using a big muff standard
@davidcrochet90407 жыл бұрын
The Hermit guitar lessons I think it's personal preference. I have 2 fuzz pedals, I run one before and one after just so I can get the best of both worlds.

Hey so I bought this pedal years ago and now it's broken. Let me tell you, the crybabys for guitar are much more durable than this bass one because of the step-to-activate design. The little button that deactivates the pedal when your foot is off does not get pressed in anymore. Kind of a bad design there. Also, something happened to the effect where it works sometimes, and sometimes the effect is barely audible. It's been through a lot, but never thrown, dropped, or water damage. Have you encountered any of these issues now that you've had yours for a while now? I like the effect but man the design is not made to last. You'll spend $50 every few years on repairs. (that's the flat rate dunlop charges for a repair).

would you say this pedal sucks tone when it is off?

Not at all. A true bypass.

True bypass?
@ronlawrence56357 жыл бұрын
No, not a true bypass. It would have been a better design if it were a true bypass .

Why don't you slap?
@FrostByte_AC9 жыл бұрын
willemm1998 My momma told me it wasn't nice to slap. Nah, my slap skill isn't where I want it to be in order to showcase it. My slap work wouldn't do any pedal justice. That is, until I get awesome at it!
