I named my sword: Slicer. My axe: Chopper. My shovel: Digger. My silktouch pickaxe: Silker. My fortune pickaxe: Smash & Grab. And my elytra: Glider

On the topic of naming things, i name areas based on either appearance or what they are supposed to be. My starter area was named by the server members as "Cherry Acres" because everyone was building with and planting cherry trees. My industrial farming district is called "The Compound" because it's an all inclusive area with iron farm, trading hall, and all the Redstone/afk farms. The castle in the sky I'm heading is called "Laputa" because that's my inspiration. "Sea horse rock" is named for the natural generation and shape of the tall, jutting terrain. And so on. My tools i struggle to name in a clever way. I normally just name them after things from shows or books that remind me of the things, like naming my elytra "Ang's glider" or my bow "Logolas' whisper". Usually the equipment is named just so i know it's mine, but the locations are named by whoever built it or by the server as a whole and only so we can easily reference places or give directions.

Oh, I didn't mention name villagers. I name them about their significant trades so people don't have to guess who sells Mending or Cyan terracotta. And animals get named after their real world counterparts ("Gracie") or their function ("Creeper deturant", "Skelly breaker")
