I moved to a rural area about 30 minutes south of Allentown and the house was newly built, but the ground was originally Indian territory and the documents later found by one of my neighbors in the library in Allentown showed the area was an Indian burial ground. We had so many events happen in our houses, and the feeling of a presence was so heavy, and it would make you feel like you needed to leave. I was afraid most of the time I lived there We had poltergeist activities in the houses and the woman who was an artist, she painted an Indian and she made several paintings of this Indian and the night she heard things being thrown around in her art loft, the next morning she went up and everything was thrown all over and the painting of the Indian had a scar on his face that was new. She had sold a painting to the library of this Indian and she had just had the impulse to paint him and she didn't have any source material. She just thought it was an Indian she created In the library where they hung the painting, that painting also changed and had the same scar now. In the library talking to the staff, they said that they bought it because it was of an Indian that was famous in the area. They showed her sketches in their collection of the same Indian that she painted, and it was not a random idea, she had channeled this Indian and she painted him without a scar, but now the paintings had the scar that he actually had. We saw and heard things I am positive that this area is haunted. The area dated back to William Penn and the roads had dated back to the 1600s and the Indians before that had trails. The trails actually were used to be roads and they formed the boundary of the counties The last day I was there I still felt the presence and the days leading up to moving, I actually left the house at night because it was too uncomfortable to be in the house I could look up the stairs and feel that someone was there The cat would sit and stair and cry and not move It gives me chills just thinking about it

About 5 years ago, I performed in the international fair at the Cathedral of Learning. The air was heavy and cold and the lighting was dark. The strangest encounter I had was with my friends and we were changing into our uniforms. We heard a door slam shut so we went out into the hallway. Nothing was there. So we went back into the room and not 2 minutes later we heard another door slam shut and laughing. Nothing was there. Another thing I recount is that my phone was at 85% and then at the end of the show not 1 hour later my phone was at 5%. For a 13 year old at the time, it was quite the strange feeling I had.

Centralia is super easy to miss if you don't know where you are, but it's really mostly the vapors from the coal fires. Honestly, the scariest part of Centralia is the fact that the fire is unlikely to stop for several hundreds of years and will consume several towns, including several my fiance's family have homes on before it finally has no more fuel.

I was born in Philadelphia and lived there for 52 yeards. I now live in the Poconos. I worked downtown most of my life in Philly in the historic area and the city is so horrible haunted that those who born there don't even pay attention to what we see walking around, or hear. When i was a little girl in S. Philly I saw and/or heard a few ghosts in the older house. That entire city, and state, is embedded with the spirits of all those centuries. I've encountered ghosts all over PA. We accept it as part of the history of the state.

I worked in the Cat and it is haunted. I remember being down in the store room and I remember walking down the hallway past the women's bathroom and nobody was in the bathroom yet the toilet flushed. In the store room a sleeve of cups just randomly fell, I was eating my salad and I felt someone or thing sat right beside me in the cafeteria when I sat down the spot was smooth while I was sitting a butt imprint was very visable had appeared out of nowhere. I played it off calmly got up and moved over to this giant table. I've heard feet running up the stairwell when no students were in the building at all, plus at the rate of speed that they were going it would've been humanly impossible to move that fast a person would break their legs or fall going up the steps.

I went to Gettysburg last month and it was interesting to say the least. Me, my sister, and my mom walked up the stairs of a crystal shop up to the second floor, I got super dizzy and nearly fell back down the stairs when I first stepped onto the second floor. We walked around the battle field and we were by one of the monuments and I swear to god I heard movements from in the forest as I was reading the monument. Sadly Little Round Top was closed when we went but we are going back over the summer.

@@FrightNightScares Sorry for the wall of text - Absolutely! My first story starts back in 2009, I think we were on our second or third annual trip to the town for the re-enactments. To keep it short, we were on a ghost walk around the backside of the middle school, on the border of the national park. For those who do not know, you typically cannot be on park property after dark. A line of trees separated the two, and our guide had given us some time to walk on our own, within eyesight of course. I remember just getting this gut feeling telling me to stick my head into that tree line, and man what I heard still scares me to this day. It was like I had stepped back in time to July of 1863, I heard gun and cannon fire, men shouting and screaming, someone yelling “we gotta get out of here!”. I pulled my head back, in shock, but I stuck my head back into the grove and heard nothing, it had just stopped. I stepped back, told my family, and got back to the tour. It took me awhile to process all of that. The next case occurs fairly close to the same area about a year later. Again, we were on a guided tour but were on the other side of the middle school football field. This time, our guide took us into that part of the tree line, and back to a small pond. We were instructed to stay on path, and not go out of the trees on the other side as that was park territory. My family and I started walking down to an area that there were not a lot of other people ghost hunting, and broke out our EVP recorders, K2 meters, and dowsing rods. Although we were not catching much on the K2 and dowsing rods, I very distinctly remember feeling watched the entire time we were in those woods. We began to conduct some role play, as farmers from the nearby area, and even brought some loose leaf tobacco and left a little offering for the spirits. We decided to leave, but left our EVP equipment running. As we were walking out, my mom can be heard fumbling around trying to put some equipment away, but a very stern voice cuts into the recording saying “look at me you farm girl!” followed by “I tried to run away.” We could not see any other ghost hunters, and certainly could not hear talking with our ears at the time. We only discovered the EVP’s after getting back to our hotel and listening to the recordings, which sent shivers down our spines. Lastly, and probably the shortest story, was when my mom, wife, and mother were all at the Farnsworth House. We had never been before, but that trip decided to do their haunted tour. We had gone up into their attic and sat down on their bleachers to listen to the guide talk about the history, and then the hauntings of the home. Nothing happened during the tour, and we left to go grab some dinner. It was at that point my wife told me that she felt like someone had grabbed her butt. She was startled, but didn’t want to make a scene. At the time, she was very skeptical of hauntings and other spooky things. We went back and talked to the guide, who confirmed there was a spirit there who did “occasionally grab pretty women's butts, or pull on their hair”. Gettysburg is 100% haunted, and I will always love it there. I’m really glad I stumbled onto your channel, and you have taken the time to ask me about my experiences. Thank you very much! And thank you for your awesome videos, I look forward to new uploads while I binge through your older content.

What about western state penitentiary or otherwise known as the wall in Pittsburgh it's the 2nd oldest prison in Pennsylvania I it was my home jail from 2014 till 2017 it was 5 tears high had a chain link fence over the ground tear just incase someone fell or was thrown over the railing of one of the upper tears it would catch the unfortunate inmate.

There are a ton of haunted places in PA. I ghost hunt all the time but my favorite is Gettysburg. I find that most places are haunted if you pay attention. Just like people living all over the world so do spirits 👻

i have to make the comment regarding to your statement regarding Centralia seeming like "something straight out of Silent Hill". The reason for that is that the original Silent Hill game was partially based upon the spooky feeling and events that happened in Centralia. So the comparison kind of goes the opposite direction of your statement.

Thanks for tuning in to the channel @josephgillespie8450. We'll definitely keep it in mind for future videos. We know there are SO many haunted locations in many of these places. Can you tell us a bit more about Pennhurst?

Thanks for Sharing your video! Pennhurst was a state run hospital for the physically and mentally disabled that opened in 1908 and closed in 1987, due to overcrowding , neglect and abuse the hospital gained a terrible reputation and is a paranormal hot spot, my sister toured there and for a picture of a white shadow form that look like a person sitting in the corner with their as wrapped are on their legs, I've been there a few times myself and the place is truly foreboding!

You missed Beyer's Hall on the N. Side. When the Beyers family still lived there, their daughter, a little girl, was playing in the servants' star well up on the 4th or 5th floor and accidentally fell 6 or 7 stories to her death and is rumoured to haunt the building but, I stayed there `til after midnight one night and saw/heard nothing.

Torrance State Hospital as well. My mom worked there for 30+ years they did some really bad stuff to patients back in the early days. There is also very creepy my dark tunnels under that place. My mom used to take me there when i was a kid to pick up her check. i’ve seen stuff there. Alot of it is mostly abandoned now but still state property. Also St. Vincent’s Church is also supposedly haunted.

Either you are VERY young or have been very sheltered. No offense intended, but Gettysburg and Eastern States have been famous for their ghosts since the 1980s when i first heard of them. Probably long before that!

There are a lot of local stories in the Lancaster/Harrisburg/York counties. There is a forest trail on the Susquehanna outside Columbia. Many people have reported seeing Wendigo-type creatures in the area.
